"The olympics are woke and bad, but at least it's not the NAZI OLYMPICS!!!"

Not really a rigorous explanation, but I'm pretty sure getting that thought into NPCs heads was point, particularly the ones that didn't take kindly to fat dyke Jesus and the last supper of freaks.

It's easy to boycott when you don't like their stuff. It's harder to boycott -- and at the same time more essential -- when you do like their stuff.

Suddenly the left loves fatherhood.

All that power to control their minds but can't use it to make them go home or commit suicide.

I'd like to interrupt to remind everyone that, despite being less than 5% of the population, lesbians are responsible for 100% of all space crimes.

To piggyback slightly: anyone know dirt about GamersNexus? They seem to really know their stuff and really advocate for the consumer, but I wonder if I've wrapped myself into an echo chamber and should temper my trust.

Half-measures will just mean more pain for those who resist the destruction of their people. Hopefully the spirits of their ancestors can guide them.

But if a guy doesn't want to date a single mom with herpes, he's an asshole.

Nothing says "anti-authoritarian" more than demanding the arrest of people you don't like.

it's impossible to really "get" the narrative of the game if you aren't locked into first person because so much of the emotion wouldn't carry over if you didn't feel like it was you looking through the MCs eyes

I will never not be convinced these people are the ones that cannot picture an apple in their minds.

Western nations no longer have the pride in their country required to see themselves being a soldier as anything more than "just a job".

All according to... plan.

On the one hand, the astroturfing suggests they don't think they can get away with the steal this time. Or they're serving Kamala up to be the one to lose to Trump and try to dump a particularly pesky wing of the Democrats.

On the other hand, it could also suggest they need their backstory of why she'll have the most votes in history of any candidate ever.

The problem isn't using SBMM at all, the problem is linking it up with manufactured discontent and near-miss psychological responses right out of the gambling industry in order to milk lootboxes.

Which is always sort of how tech goes these days. Someone comes up with something cool that enhances things for everyone, then some fucking asshole perverts it into a revenue stream.

After all, the whole local / regional / state / national championship organization of sports is effectively Skill-Based Match Making, and it's been around forever.

With the kinds of DEI educations doctors get these days, I'm not sure I still want one.

Of course, the government isn't going to let go of their biggest leverage over the common person: prohibiting them from getting the care they want or the treatments they need unless signed off by a licensed stooge.

There have been a ton of new translations beyond the King James version mess with the content. Yes, it's not easy to read, but modernization of the text seemed to change up words and drop others completely. Most (not all) of the new translations are from the 20th century and onwards. Wikipedia itself has a giant grid showing around 100 alternative translations. Why? Consensus cracking from even before COINTELPRO.

This page that feels right at home in the internet of 1994 has some selected quotes if you want to see how your favorites turn out.

Not going to claim that's the only authority, and I'm by no means some expert, but it's interesting seeing it organized in such a way (and bookmarkable) along with the actual examples from a subset of mis-translations.

It's interesting how the majority of blue countries on the 2020 map have gone all in on the current greatest US export: Globohomo.
