In most cases it takes time and money to get more of it later on. For most people they want to skip out on the former and just assume that the latter can fix all problems.

I used to be a mod for an indie steam game, and I can kinda confirm this. Steam has a pretty lenient policy on what companies do to reviews, or more accurately they're under the impression "it's better to be in the center of attention even if it's bad". While I can't speak for all games, many b-tier indie ones will intentionally pay bots/companies to boost their reviews. It's not cheap (I know the game company I was with was paying about $15-20k a month to "boost" their reviews), so not all companies go for it.

While I do agree about the comments, the amount of actual posts (especially stickied ones) are akin to reddit and distract from actual core conservative beliefs. Not only did the indians not mind it but they actively encouraged it, as people would look into their histories upon seeing said mascots. I remember back in I think 2014 they invited a 90yr old indian war veteran to one of the redskin games, and there was such an outpour of support afterwards that they named a street after the guy a month later.

See, my big issue with the purge series is that they didn't go dark enough with it. They have a really good plot idea where all crimes are legal for 24hrs, yet solely restrict the focus to murder and nothing else. In their world noone steals, noone does drugs, and more importantly noone tortures. Just once I'd like to see one of their movies open with a guy in an open field pouring gas over people he kidnapped/handcuffed, only to light a match and it zoom out with their contorted/burning bodies spelling out the name of the movie. Would really set a tone for the rest of the film.

Didn't that ice-poseidon guy do a similar thing a few years back involving air travel, where he got a friend to call the police on him as he was boarding a flight saying he had a bomb, just so he could get attention and a free plane ticket? For me all of this would be solved if authorities cracked down more on the stuff, like what they did over here where a kid got 5 years in jail for masquerading as a subway employee and posting on facebook that "no nigs are welcome at this place", causing more than 30 black people to firebomb said location.
