If you hate or despise all women, that's misogyny. There are people who do indeed hate or despise all women, which means misogyny is real. The word makes no implications about whether that hatred or despite is or isn't justified.

Thank you. "How many of something can there be before 'literally none' becomes inaccurate" is the stupidest kind of question.

Misogyny is absolutely real. So are misandry, racism, and misanthropy in general. People will hate other people given the slightest excuse.

Seriously, there is literally nobody more marginalized than the Appalachian Redneck but for some reason nobody gives a damn.

This actually wouldn't be difficult. Order them to do their jobs apolitically and promote free speech, and then fire them for gross insubordination when they inevitably and quickly fail.

Calling SW a dead brand is not a statement about the current product, it's a statement that the current product doesn't even matter because of everything that came before.

No. "Whiteness" means "intelligent, practical behaviors and values which lead to wealth creation and societal stability."

The law of cause and effect is an unforgivable sin in the minds of leftists, and anyone who demonstrates that some choices are objectively better than others is the enemy.

Just for accuracy's sake, their policy forbids you to use the PayPal service for activities that "promote misinformation". They can't just charge you because they found your KiA2 posts. It's still horrible and I've cancelled my account, but it's not quite what's being represented here.

racialized

I've seen people claim it unironically that white people do not have a culture, bit this is the first time I've seen it implied that they don't have a race either.

I 100% support owning what you buy, but R2R laws are trying to solve a problem with laws that ought to be solved with culture instead. Businesses should have a right to offer products for sale or lease on whatever terms they choose, and people should not buy goods on terms they don't agree with. Right to repair iPhones becomes a complete nonissue if people just refuse to buy iPhones with no right to repair.

R2R isn't a problem because of greedy businesses. It's a problem because of weak-willed consumers.

Denying them the ability to store cookies on your machine doesn't at all stop them from saving info to your profile on their machines.

Unique machine fingerprints mean they can connect one browsing session to the next even without any logins or cookies.

"Which part of the dump smells the worst?" Who cares? Just don't go to the dump. Hating something is way more investment than garbage deserves.

Objective reality is racist? Your terms are acceptable.

I'm playing Code Vein after its recent Steam sale. It's extremely weeby, but it's not woke in the least and I'm having a blast.

And yes, I'm playing with full-on lewd mods and no shame.

Twitter actually doesn't have a policy called "media policy".

They have a sensitive media policy which bans adult content (unless flagged sensitive), violent sexual content, gratuitous gore, and hateful imagery. This policy does not apply unless pictures of white girls with fish tails are "hateful imagery".

They also have a synthetic and manipulated media policy which bans "synthetic, manipulated, or out-of-context media that may deceive or confuse people and lead to harm." This policy also does not apply unless Twitter is worried that people might harmfully suffer confusion about whether white girls with fish tails are real.

I had moved my internet donation money there after cancelling my Wikipedia philanthropy. Time to look for a new deserving org... EFF maybe.

Stranger, Moon, and Starship Troopers are all excellent in very different ways. His YA books are really excellent for a young teenager as well - I couldn't get enough of Tunnel in the Sky, Have Spacesuit Will Travel, and the rest of that ilk when I was a lad. And all the short stories gathered in The Past Through Tomorrow are very good reading.

His later work got very self-indulgent. I didn't hate it as much as many do but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it unless you've already gotten through his better works and need more.

I watched Top Gun Maverick over the weekend. It was a solidly-executed basic popcorn flick with no surprises of any kind, and 20 years ago I'd have called it pleasantly mediocre - but in today's cinema culture, the mere fact that they delivered a solidly-executed basic popcorn flick and didn't shoehorn in a painful amount of tone-deaf woke propaganda made it sadly exceptional.

Note that in English, the word "is" is used to refer to the present tense. Past tense is referred to using "was", instead.

Seriously. Anybody who didn't already know which side of the culture war WOTC is on hasn't been paying attention at all.
