See, I’d be fine with this, but most who say ‘end the nuclear family’ just want a further descent into degenerate atomized consumptive individualism.
So furthering the transhumanist hell scape that we live in. What a great solution; and I’m sure relying upon a technology that doesn’t yet exist will be a viable model for the world.
Generally speaking, in your vehement hatred of women, what feasible alternative to strong and stable families do you propose as a foundational block for a nation?
Then don’t sleep with a thot. It’s a simple and yet elegant solution.
Become moral, and then find another mora person to intentionally build a strong relationship with. If you feel like you need a contractual distribution of assets in a relationship, odds are good it’s not a strong relationship.
“And I for one welcome our new Amish overlords. I would like to remind them that as a trusted TV newsman I can be helpful in rounding up others to work in their large wheat farms.”
That’s because the Amish actually do control the world, but won’t exercise their power until it is time to raise the great barn to protect the earth.
Oh my God, he it even has a unique modifier!
Qanon be like “Trust the plan- this will let us catch all the pedophiles by giving them access to children.”
Of course it’s degenerate. Even in cases where it is allowed, it is because of infidelity breaking the bond of marriage, ie degeneracy.
All that you’re describing are the impacts of the sex permissive society we live in and the lack of morals. That doesn’t get to determine what normality is because it results from a break in the norm. It would be like establishing an ethical treatment of children based on the fact that some people groups would kill one twin when they were born. Even if it’s ‘normal’ for that people group numerically, it shouldn’t be a normative thing to do.
Berk back. No care. Grasses ON, NOTHING WONG
I’ve read Android’s Dream, and Flow my Tears the Policeman Said. Both are good. He has a great knack for describing absolutely hellish dystopias like few authors can, as well as playing with fun and out there ideas. A wacky guy, but a gifted author too.
But friend, we all consider you a person. You don’t need to bring that self loathing talk here- it’s a safe and friendly place.
“It’s Hegelian Dialectics not personal animosity”
Ave, true to Caesar. The Legion obeys.
Damn, this might be the most unhinged thing you’ve said yet.
Name checks out. Sadly, a rat with a knife is still only a rat.
When asked once in an interview what he thought of the “Coming war between man and nature” he said “I hope that man doesn’t hesitate to shoot first.”
Am teacher. Can confirm that my students, especially the boys, have zero drive to do anything. Won’t read, won’t think, won’t write, and think that thing to understand things about the world is dumb. Very sad.
Check out the anime Psycho Pass. Similar to GiS, it explores a technological dystopia and the crimes that would arise. It’s main world building idea is that the development of the ‘psycho pass’ allows for an AI to scan and monitor people’s potential to commit a crime. As a result, they have an intrinsically high trust society, since everyone who could commit a crime is theoretically locked up. The show explores the problems of the the technology and social philosophy. It’s really good stuff.
Wow, the Edgy Internet Atheist liberals of yesteryear have become increasingly degenerate and communist. Who could have predicted that happening! Definitely newsworthy 🙄
Conceptually it’s a bad idea. Bioshock’s narrative power comes from the fact that it is a game, with player input and decisions. The entire plot twist centers around this, and the dealings with the Little Sisters are only narratively powerful because it is YOU who is deciding. It is a master class in video games as a narrative device. A movie adaptation strips out that soul, and leaves behind only the husk of the setting. You can’t have the meaningful decision making of different plasmids, of sparing Little Sisters or farming them for Adam, or even of choosing to kill the enemies. At that point just make a Bioshock inspired dieselpunk show, because all of the important innards of Bioshock are gone. Or just play Infinite, since it’s just as soulless and basically a movie anyways.
The best kind of correct!
This is akin to saying that attempting to murder someone is good because it made them more loved by those around them. Don’t be an imbecile.
I know nothing of Italian politics, but any politician who understands the philosophical and theological underpinnings of Tolkien’s work is someone that I immediately view as being at least 50% more likely to be within acceptable levels of political corruption.
