Check out the anime Psycho Pass. Similar to GiS, it explores a technological dystopia and the crimes that would arise. It’s main world building idea is that the development of the ‘psycho pass’ allows for an AI to scan and monitor people’s potential to commit a crime. As a result, they have an intrinsically high trust society, since everyone who could commit a crime is theoretically locked up. The show explores the problems of the the technology and social philosophy. It’s really good stuff.
I watched it a long time ago and the social credit comentary, distopian surveillance and "cancel culture" now seem more relevant than ever, I started 2nd season but never finished it, I heard 3rd season is better. Might get back to finishing that series one day
