I know some illegal families that came from Honduras. One came because it’s gang land out there and they had their house raided at gunpoint and their daughter got traumatized by it all. The other came to send money back to her country to support her family like a lot of them tend to. The latter’s mother is actually on death’s door, but she won’t go back to visit since she most likely won’t make it back into the US after that. That’s how much people don‘t want to go back to Honduras.
Funnily enough, the sons of the family that came here illegally are all big Trump supporters. Trying talking to them about whether that was wise in their particular case. They’d rather risk deportation than let Wokeism continue.
There’s definitely a lot of that going on, but I think the larger issue is actually simpler and more depressing.
A lot of people are more like NPCs. There are many different ways in which people believe things and act. A very large number of people—maybe even the largest number of people—go by social queues and what they’re told. Particularly women. And more recently, demasculinized men trying to make it with those women for lack of options. A lot of these women are now on SSRIs. The burden of what it takes for them to believe something is now very low. It just needs to be on their phone.
It isn’t really them being stupid. Or them actively being evil revolutionaries, though those exist. It’s that those people that can very easily believe anything if enough people do are now constantly plugged into woke ideology and raised on it from birth, and just go with what’s popular at the time due to social media algorithms. That’s why there’s a general lack of coherency on the surface of a lot of things they support and do. They’re against climate change but fire bomb Teslas and support children flying around in private jets. Queers for Palestine. It isn’t incoherent under the surface though. It’s whatever works on the social media algorithms for crazy bitches on SSRIs.
The epistemological fabric of the world for many people has been poisoned. It isn’t even being coopted entirely by revolutionary types so much as simply social media algorithms. That’s part of why there’s a shifting away. The algorithms on sites like X changed.
KKK started because freed slaves were going around raping and killing white people. They weren’t trying to hate on blacks so much as protect themselves. Not that the KKK is great, but none of this stuff ever involved one side doing nothing at all.
Tim’s better than Rogan at this, but typically he’ll still have the issue where if you deeply know about something he’s talking about, he’ll often convey big misunderstandings of it. When it comes to just keeping up with the news and politicians he’s second to none. When it comes to knowing about specific things like this, definitely not the most reliable source if he’s not relaying reports that other people made.
Tim’s also been taken in by a few crackpot guests in the past, like Jack Murphy.
In this case I do think the black kid was going around stealing and got caught and tried provoking the kid to hit him based on the testimony of some of the people there and the general situation. With Tim though, I think he’s just trying to stick to the police report and how it’d be easy for someone in Texas to argue it was self defense. I mostly think Tim just didn’t look into this one very much. He’s got a kid now and is being more hands off, and dropped the ball.
People there from what I know did say the kid said “touch me and see what happens,” then “hit me and see what happens.” He was trying to get the victim to throw hands to make it self defense, but in Texas there’s a law that makes it an engagement at that point from what I read.
Even if none of that were true and that kid was just in their tent suspiciously when he had no business being there at all and refused to leave, that kid isn’t then allowed to stab the other guy in the chest to death.
I’ve talked to economists that suggested pretty much what this 4Chan thread said, but also that it’s not going that way. People didn’t dump money into bonds. Some bought stock on the dip. Most just kind of worried and sat on their money since it’s all very chaotic.

H1B’s are basically modern indentured servants but from India. We don’t have a shortage of engineers or anything, just a shortage of ones willing to work for as low a wage as they give them, and that the folks running the hiring will allow, typically being of their own race, which is Indian.
In tech, if you get an Indian anywhere near hiring, pretty soon the whole company is only Indian and they fire everybody else. Then the output tanks because most don’t know what they’re doing. That’s what happened with things like AssCreed Shadows and a bunch of MS stuff. Shadows had 2 hours of credits filled with contract pajeets. It runs like shit and looks like crap and is actively poorly made compared to the other ones. On the MS end, they’re a revolving door of Indian contract workers that fuck everything up.

My parents are great and approach literal saints, but Boomers as a demographic did fuck everyone and cause this mess. Pandemic was Gamergate 2.0 for redpilling. Bunch of fake news caused people to actually look into things, who soon realized it was all made up and that their government actively hated them. Without Gamergate, might not have been a Trump. Without the pandemic, probably wouldn’t have been a Trump 2.0 where he’s just freeballing anything he wants to say or do.
