Free education would make more money than it would cost in the long term , and this is all that is really needed for equal opportunity. have the start line at the same place , and the talented will rise to the top , rather than having mediocre aristocrats who's only real talent is that they were born rich. A meritocratic system would depend on this. And this is the true path ideal philosopher king system envisioned by Plato, with the enlightened natural elite rising to the top and making a better society for all.

Equal opportunity rather than equal outcomes is what I think is the only workable kind of equality.

With equal opportunity , everyone starts at the same start line and has the same chance to get ahead , but if they fail to do so then that is on them, not the system , nor the people who managed to get ahead. This is actual equality (or as close as we are likely to be able to get)

Equal outcomes which is the path western society is heading down is a fatally flawed philosophy , the lazy and talentless will get into positions that they are not competent for and cause incredible damage to society , while the talented will grow resentful that less talented people are getting the rewards they worked hard for and they will rebel and kick the politicians that think this is a good idea out of office.

I have compartmentalized my social media presence , I have a nice clean set of social media accounts filled with non-political shitposts and a couple of posts about various hobbies , and a set of completely unrealated accounts for discussing politics.

This is the only way to do it in this day and age when people can get canceled for posts made 10 years ago.

I recommend everyone should do the same. All a cancel mob will find if they scour my public presence is amusing cat pictures , some boring messages about banal day to day things and a few posts about random hobby stuff. but they won't find anything political.

They fired the guy hours before the opening ceremony he organized so that some SJW can smugly stand up and take all the credit for his hard work by posing as the director of the opening ceremony.

Simple, offer him a balanced view of politics offering both sides of the debate and establish a centrist position, then highlight how the faux left strawmans point of view other than their own and refused to participate in the debate or acknowledge there is any valid opposition, and how they rely on name calling and physical violence rather than rational discussions of the issues.

Japan is pretty culturally conservative and has a high standard of living and low crime while not being complete religious nuts however you will need to learn a new language.

And some places in Latin America are pretty conservative without being religious extremists, but they have a much lower standard of living and a major crime problem.

Australia is moving towards a system where you use your mobile phone as a tracking device and you have to check in at every store you visit with a QR code or face a hefty fine.

Pretty soon they plan to link it to the medicare system that holds the vaccination records and if you are vaccinated and you are caught outside on something deemed 'nonessential' you could get a hefty fine as well.

The Boers will seem like a happy memory as they trudge from their labor camps to the mines under the whips of their new overlords.

I run steam under Debian and I can run most windows games with better performance than a windows machine.

Windows is obsolete.

It is illegal to sue big pharma just about anywhere in the world for the vaccines.

It will probably be in the public notices section of the classified ads of some newspaper based in the middle of nowhere, just to satisfy the legal requirements that it should be publicly published.

That is because the pandemic has burned itself out , everyone who was vulnerable to catching the virus has caught the virus or has been immunized and now the only people left are immune to it or they are recent arrivals who brought the virus with them.

B-list celebrity , she plays supporting roles in some fiims. And as is typical as her star is setting she will try to hang on to fame by making it politically incorrect to not give her roles.

The lawsuits and fallout from the child molestation cases have caused many branches in Australia to close.

The council tore down the scout hall in a park near me because it has been unoccupied for 15 years and it was starting to fall down by itself.

Any format that can accept clear text can accept encrypted text.

All it will take for you to do this is encrypting and decrypting with an external program.

There are many good programs that support this method.
