The Duluth model fucks men over harder than anything when it comes to domestic accusations. It's comparable to CRT, but in its case it's "male guilt is a given, men are always the aggressors, protect the women and children at all costs". Even if the dude is the one with defensive wounds on his body, he'll be the one slapped in cuffs and jammed in the back of the squad car when the cops show up, because cops are trained to follow Duluth.

I remember watching COPS or some similar show a few years back. Wife beat the shit out of the husband, all he did was place two arms around her shoulders, move her aside, and walked out of the house. Cops talked to everyone who saw it and confirmed that is what took place. Spun him around and threw him in handcuffs.

Some shocking stories of how feminists are abusing our justice system :

https://youtu.be/GyiYNjbY9pg?t=1360

"She hit him twice in the face - he got charged for pushing her away"

Police are under such pressure to convict all men that they will NOT investigate if they feel the evidence might clear you :

There's a study going around that I saw but didn't keep that found that Men who were being abused were more likely to be arrested than be helped when calling the police.

It's almost STFU Friday. What do you do when a cop asks you a question?

What the lawyers are saying. I mean the series is called not on record. Is there a story of this?

I saw another vid of theirs and there was no way to verify if what they were saying was true.

Happens all the time. Don't know about this case, but false confessions are a routine part of law.

Kind of fucked up that these videos keep getting shared with no source material then.

Yea, I hear you. There's a great book called "Unfair" by a guy named Benforado who actually goes into detail of the mechanics of how miscarriages of justice unfold and how widespread they really are.

?

I think we're talking two different topics. My take is that these guys in the video might just be bullshiting and it's hard to say without knowing the facts of their story.

The police's job is to get a name on the record and push you into the justice system. Never forget it.

Japan is pretty culturally conservative and has a high standard of living and low crime while not being complete religious nuts however you will need to learn a new language.

And some places in Latin America are pretty conservative without being religious extremists, but they have a much lower standard of living and a major crime problem.

Police can "press charges" just like a crime victim would, and the DA's office often just goes with their recommendation without much review. But yes this is perfect situation where the suspect could contact the DA and ask them not to file charges, and a reasonable one would oblige. If Kamala Harris is in charge then you're boned.

There seems to be a failure on the police's part -

the university was able to collect the evidence and see that it was clearly lies. Why couldn't the police collect the evidence?

Because police aren’t responsible with analysis, they’re social cleanup. They show up to separate and dissolve a terrible situation, it’s someone else’s job to sort out right and wrong.

It’s not a dig at cops but a realization that their job starts and ends with stopping whatever fuckup has occurred so that someone else can adjudicate what’s right and wrong when the scene is safe.

They are the big dogs of the pack who step in to stop other dogs from biting and fighting. Once things are normalized they move on to the next situation and this problem is turned over those familiar with law and process.
