Your regular reminder that Texas and Florida abandoned all covid restrictions of any kind at the beginning of March, in what was described as a "neanderthal" move, and that cases there have been flat as a pancake ever since. (twitter.com)

It was called Neanderthal because it allowed two of the largest states to leave the forced crippling of our economy. As we saw, right after the CDC scrambled and said no masks for the vaccinated. They hated the move because they knew it would force their hand.

When the Spanish Flu hit, people wore masks...and then they came off when people were tired of it and did not see the justification for wearing them further. Legislators and politicians backed off because they didn't want to lose their jobs.

California and Michigan seem to have a "screw you peons, you're gonna mask until we reach herd immunity; and that will happen when we say it does" attitude. I really hope their population remembers this next election cycle so that no amount of ballot stuffing will save the swamp from losing a few seats.

In Washington our tyrant won November re-election in a landslide, and to add just that little extra touch of "fuck you", the police department which employed his opponent laid him off shortly after the election.

The rolling blackouts are more likely to take out Newsom than WuFlu: that's what did in Gray Davis 20 years ago. Don't fuck with people's AC in the summer. Funny how that particular issue has reared its head again.

I'm willing to bet money that these people are acting this arrogant about policies that are manifestly unpopular because they were not legitimately elected.

Northern Idaho is gorgeous country. If I wasn't as concerned about demographic changes to that state it'd be a no-brainer.

The worst thing I saw during this is that I know a professor at Yale Medical school that wrote a book on the Spanish Flu. There is an entire chapter about masks and the conclusion it had no effect on the outcome. She was calling for people to wear masks and even double mask. I then quoted her own words back to her.

That whole "no masks for the vaccinated" was a huge mistake. I still can't believe they did it. At this point the only people who are wearing masks are people who are required to wear masks by the health department.

I'm surprised they didn't try to double down and file criminal charges against the governors, or cut federal funding to the states.

I live in Texas and you wouldn’t believe the amount of hysteria from some people when they removed the mask mandate. I can’t wait when it comes out that masks were purely psychological

I live in kentucky and it was really strange how 5 minutes after they lifted rthe mask mandate everyone seemed to forget about covi ever happening. I was at a super crowded fireworks show tonight with thousands of poeple shoulder to shoulder and not one person was wearing a mask. I was joking with my wife that "about a month ago people were calling me insane and ignorant for not wearing a mask, and now that teh TV told them to take it off, they all took it off... Do they still think I was such a madman for not wearing one last month?"

It is mind blowing how controlled people are without even knowing it.

Not sure it ever will; unless it's on page 10 of a newspaper in a small op-ed that nobody cares about.

It will probably be in the public notices section of the classified ads of some newspaper based in the middle of nowhere, just to satisfy the legal requirements that it should be publicly published.

In the city there were stores with signs saying "We STILL require masks."

Like, they specifically had signs printed up.

The masks were always psychological.

Even from the narrative, the masks are supposed to protect others. Not you. You are not protected from Covid with a mask. You never were.

The policy was, in March of 2020, that since asymptomatic transmission was extremely high, the virus could last on surfaces for weeks, and it would take 14 days for anyone to show symptoms, it was prudent for everyone to wear masks until we could establish who was even sick.

Except:

  • The virus does not survive on surfaces very long
  • The virus does not take 14 days to show symptoms
  • Asymptomatic transmission is actually low

Every justification for a mask mandate is false or fraudulent.

On a side note. I get very bad allergies from weed pollen. In order to keep myself safe from weed pollen I have to wear this. I'm not kidding. This is the level of protection I need from pollen. Which, I will remind you, is hundreds or thousands of times larger than a virus.

Then, there's the idea that in order to stay secure from a virus... you don't need gloves. Yeah, you do. Fuck your stupid ass hand sanitizer, you need to be wearing gloves if you don't want to be sick.

So, that 3M face mask and gloves are what you should be wearing right off the fucking bat, if you want proper protection from this virus. Not some stupid cloth mask that you don't wash, or a fucking M95 mask which you effectively can't clean and need to buy an infinite supply of, and it's only to stop you from spreading it. It never kept you safe.

I've genuinely seen Leftist Hysterical Covidiots wearing masks mocking someone wearing a full size gas mask. He was in his 60's or 70's and it was clear it was military gear from Vietnam. He was also wearing gloves. He was the only person in the store wearing proper protection from covid. Everyone else is just playing along with the orders of the establishment, and the Leftists think they are the smart ones by mocking the only person in the store wearing adequate protection.

The only thing I've done different is ingest bee pollen, which has made a mild improvement.

I eat a tablespoon of raw honey before bed. You can look up the sleep benefits to doing that. It has to be raw though; once you warm it in tea etc it isn’t raw anymore.

Anyway, I’ve realized my former allergies were more an inflammatory reaction to what I was consuming. Once I cleaned up my diet, they stopped.

I suppose I can try raw honey, but I don't know how that would work any different than bee pollen. I'm not even sure what I would change in my diet that would have an effect.

I will say that I had a wheatgrass smoothie that I had a rather startling reaction to. It was like my body was trying to generate an allergic reaction, but was too confused to do so since I just ate it.

If you’re interested in this stuff read “the bulletproof diet”. Most likely you are experiencing chronic inflammation.

If every corporation didn't have an HR panic attack and force people to wear it on the clock I'd wager more than half the country wouldn't have ever worn one to begin with.

The job being on the line was where they really had even the disobedient by the balls.

One guy at the office was retiring and just decided to stop wearing his. And there wasn't a thing anyone could do about it because he was retiring, so they couldn't hold his job over his head. And if they sent him home I'm sure he'd just welcome having the day off.

Which is why they want to keep you dependent on that regular paycheck.

That is because the pandemic has burned itself out , everyone who was vulnerable to catching the virus has caught the virus or has been immunized and now the only people left are immune to it or they are recent arrivals who brought the virus with them.

They do. Live in a hyper leftist area and the mental gymnastics are hilarious.

If you want to see them mentally break down and get internal blue screens of death, call the vaccines ‘The Trump Vaccines’ and say you don’t trust ‘The Trump Vaccines’. I did something similar and it looked like they were having a mental heart attack.

On the plebbit for my city they loudly lament living in a "trump loving hellhole" because the vaccine numbers aren't at some arbitrary percentage (despite cases being essentially zero) while being able to live like a normal fucking human because they live in a "trump loving hellhole." I FUCKING hate these people so much. It isn't about a difference of opinion; these people are too dumb to live free and they need to fuck off elsewhere.

I must ask: flat like China's figures?

Now I doubt that central government would be able to hide the real figures in the US especially when so many oppose the decision and would love to be able to show it was bad.

Looking at the graphs I would say "not flat like China".

China's numbers are flat enough to play billiards on. It's ridiculous. They stopped at around 85,000 deaths almost exactly, and then seemed to never count any more ever again. Ever. At all.

The communist party are standing there laughing claiming they cured covid by welding people into their homes and letting them all die; and counting absolutely no cases after a few months, and the western media haven't stopped eating their cocks.

Much like Trump's dirty history, if the screaming Left had even a hint of something to use and make a scandal out of, they would have done so. The fact that they instead have to resort of crying and hysteria tells you how little there actually is.

I RO at a training range that has shoot houses and a CS chamber that local law enforcement use for qualification to use tear gas. I offered anyone who said their non medical cloth masks do something to come and try it out in the CS chamber and the CS gas molecules are much larger than viruses.

Nobody would take me up on the offer.
