One of my favorite things to say to people on the left about taxes is to simply ask if they know that they vote for the same politicians Jeff Bezos and Bloomberg do at a national level and that they vote at a local level for candidates that their newspapers support. Yet somehow those politicians are going to increase taxes on the ultra wealthy to make them pay their fair share and not the rest of us.
I imagine it’s M$ taking advantage of wounded publisher. Activision’s stock took a huge nose dive over the past year and I doubt M$ has the ability to fill up blizzard with blue haired weirdos demanding unions and causing havoc. Chances are they are going to clear house once the dust settles and put in M$ Yes men who are also blue haired weirdos
Well they also needed something other halo and Minecraft to sell hardware to get people back on Xbox. Which is why they have gone on a shopping spree. I went to college with quite a few people who pretty much only played cod and fifa on PlayStation. Now half the games they play will be exclusively on Xbox/pc
The mere suggestion of r&d into medicine that would make one happy and accepting of the body they were born with will send some of these people into a frenzy. Even if it’s in fiction. Or even if it’s a magic quick change potion you suggest. For some of these people it about the identity of being trans not the actuality of becoming another gender.
One of the worst things a content creator/online personality can do is tell people they read the comments and you let the mean ones effect you. She even goes as far as saying it ruins her day. Well guess what now you are going to get more because now they know you are reading what they have to say. How can you be an adult on the internet and not know this.
Epic gained their prominence without Chinese money. Tencent did not make a 40% investment into Epic until 2012. And any major decision made by epic is done so at the will of Tim Sweeney, if it also benefits Tencent it’s because it made epic money and therefore Tencent Owned shares go up. Tim does what Tim thinks will make him the most money. He doesn’t care all that much about the consumer unless it’s something he can try to market as a selling point to buy their product. See his recent tweets calling out apple’s manufacturing in China while ignoring himself selling a little under half of his company to a Chinese tech company in bed with ccp intelligence. If Tim wanted to he could probably say enough anti Chinese stuff to get the ccp to force Tencent to sell their holdings. But the idea that Tencent or the ccp is spearheading free speech through Time Sweeney and Epic is a ridiculous thought.
