A lot of people were sperging out hard on this board but it's true that Elon is wrong here and most of the people pointing that out are largely right. Just need to be tactical about it.

What does any of that have to do with my comment, where I say legal immigration in this context only makes sense for actual geniuses, which only exist on the scale of hundreds of people at most?

I literally say the only reason to import thousands and thousands of pajeets is to depress wages. I seriously feel like no one read my comment past the first sentence.

I wasn't speaking on any specific program, just a general sentiment regarding legal immigration. But yeah if there's already a separate program for actual geniuses then the H1B could really be scrapped altogether.

The thing is, the super pro legal immigration stance is correct on the proper scale. Take a very important and rapidly developing field like AI for instance. 100 geniuses that are at the top of the field will do more to generate progress than 10,000 mid level tech employees, and those geniuses are available in very limited quantities. Okay, have systems in place to fast track people who are proven to be on that level.

If that, and that alone, were the topic of discussion here, I could agree. But they take it way too far. There is no need to import thousands and thousands of pajeets other than to flood the market with cheap labor and depress wages for the native population.

A lot of what he says is correct, it just is a bit reductive, and then he draws the wrong conclusions from what he says.

It's a pretty cringe thing to do but you don't need a fucking law for it. If the league itself wants to come down harshly on it then leave it at that. How does this make it to the point where he puts this out there without anyone telling him he's gonna be clowned on for it.

The Tokugawas are pretty cucked nowadays so as long as we are picky about who calls the shots.

Nah, while it seems Kienan much prefers them, a simple "use it bitches" doesn't exactly amount to being "extremely judgemental" to the point of making conclusions about someone's personality over it. But whatever, agree to disagree. Seems everyone else could figure it out.

Given the context of the comment I was responding to it wasn't that ambiguous, but over not using them.

Am I the only one who gets severely judgemental over Oxford commas? Maybe I read way too far into it, but I feel it's a microcosm for people who do what feels and seems right vs people who just do it how they were taught because it is also technically not incorrect.

Now, 30% of my paycheck disappears every time my employer pays me! THANK YOU SO MUCH, PROGRESSIVES

B-b-but think of all the roads....or something....

Think you've gotten some good responses so I won't address the main question and will just give my vague thought on it.

It's largely a great idea, but the only thing I worry about is there will likely be some short term pain. If it takes more than a year or two before some good benefits start hitting, people will only associate it with failure and will sour on the whole thing. Yes, that's retarded, but so are most voters.

I can't believe they unironically advertise that you have to accept a paradox to understand their system.

Was feeling quite burdened seeing PA stuck at 85% reported but definitely much more on the unburdened side now.

On one hand, I'm not a fan of Travis. His relationship with Swift is extremely cringe. And he's done tons of very retarded commercials promoting vaccines. Dude has zero honor left.

On the other hand, yeah, the kid thinking he's safe back there yelling at him getting a surprise probably deserved it. Media will probably spin it as him being upset about him using a no no word (pro gay sentiment) when the reality is probably closer to the opposite. Homosexuality is revolting to any straight man and he wanted to teach the kid who called his brother gay a lesson (anti gay sentiment).

The biggest thing regarding fortification is the ballots don't exist this time around. Last time, most battleground states mass mailed ballots to everyone under the guise of "muh Covid," So when someone shows up in the middle of the night with a van full of 95% Biden ballots, those are actually real ballots that were simply fraudulently obtained and filled out.

This time around ballots weren't sent out in anywhere near as large of numbers. Mail voting is down anywhere from 30 to 90% depending on the jurisdiction, and what has been returned has shifted far to the right.

They barely managed to pull it off last time with all that working in their favor. And the general environment this time is much more R friendly. Trump is more popular than ever. Kamala is less popular than Biden.

There will be cheating. Lots of it, probably. I just don't see how it could be enough this time. Of course people can't and shouldn't get complacent. Every vote counts even if just to send a message.

Poor guy. He says that because it's genuinely what he thinks given the available data. But he doesn't realize that he's only allowed to say what the secular cult of The Science believes.

Even then it's a bit difficult to say to be honest. If Donald Trump was on the list, could I even believe it at this point? I would need to have a way to ensure it is the true and undoctored list.
