Is there a refusal to push him? He seems pretty universally liked in right wing circles by the people who actually know his work.

Lmfao I never thought about that, but you are 100% correct. Autists will have images on the boorus tagged with the most precise and detailed tags it's borderline impressive. Zero reason to ever have to see shit you don't wanna see on there.

I played the Japanese version and I was absolutely floored when I heard they had Easter as Bunny Day in the English version. Daily reminder to learn Japanese to avoid this as much as possible. And do whatever it takes to prevent them from polluting things at the source.

If parents don't "push too hard with values," there's a good chance something shitty will fill the void left by those values that weren't pushed. Not to say that it can never work, or that there aren't shitty parents that push shitty values out there.

90% of everything is shit. Always was and probably always will be. There are countless run of the mill shit isekai anime. There are also plenty of good and great ones.

Speaking of anime as a whole, we've been eating quite well lately, and this season with Frieren, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, and Kage no Jitsuryokusha has been a continuation of that trend.

ReeEeeeEeEEaeee anime is shit now!!@!@!@

Okay boomer.

I dont like divegrass. That being said, I've seen enough of it in my life to tell that the men in the video are using a mere fraction of their actual skill. They are scoring while barely trying.

This is where I'm at. Look at where it was just 10 years ago versus where we are as a society now with the LGBTBBQGTA5 shit and tell me with a straight face that normalizing this shit was a good idea.

Bouldabassed 4 points ago +5 / -1

Absolutely disgusting. Even more disgusting is how quickly all of this has been normalized.

Yeah absolutely but experiencing that second hand is different than being immersed in and surrounded by it 24/7. Having not been alive back then it was a minor culture shock for me even though to an extent I saw it coming.

Went to Japan and Korea a couple times this year for work and travel and I never appreciated before just how much simply making an effort to be feminine can actually move the needle. Add in the obesity rate in young women being virtually zero and it just leaves one wondering "what if young western women were this attractive on average" the whole time you're there. Definitely still a bunch of crazies though.

I hate when people don't capitalize the first letter in their sentences. Especially when I know it's a calculated decision to come off as down to earth and relatable. See it all the time on billboards nowadays and this gives off the same feel.

Investment is often made around potential gain and not actual gains that will be happening immediately. ChatGPT absolutely has the potential to attract billions in investment.

Man I would love to hear what these retards think about Sakurasou. That is like the entire plot. Sometimes people are just gifted and better than you no matter what you do and you need to deal with it cause that's life.

The saddest part about NPCs is that even after such a thorough deconstruction of their retardation, the odds that he went back to the mental drawing board and rethought things are slim.

I have gotten into it with family and friends over politics in the past, but I try hard to avoid it nowadays because I realized no matter how thoroughly I demonstrate that they're full of shit, their views are a religion to them and they will never change until they are forced by something much more real to them than my words.

I still applaud you for it though. Like I said, the odds he changed his mind are slim but they aren't zero.

It is worth keeping all the context in mind, sure. As it stands now, abortionists will sign off on anything regardless of the reason being valid or not. Yes, the legislature could pass a law defining it as only being "necessary" under certain circumstances. But even then it still is a blank check until viability.

The fact of the matter is they took a state that had a fairly restricted abortion scene and made it a lot less restricted. That's a loss no matter how you slice it, even if it isnt the absolute worst case. It is not a loss for the until birth feminists because they clawed back significant ground in a red state by turning out in droves. This is why constitutional amendments should not be left up to simple democratic majority vote.

Bouldabassed 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah that is definitely a possibility. The establishment wing is desperate to get rid of Trump and would absolutely self destruct themselves if that's what they think it would take to do it.

It's funny that some people think DeWine carried Vance though. DeWine is relatively unliked considering how red the state is now. He got less than 50% of the vote in the primary and only won because the other two candidates split the vote.

There's definitely something to be said for that. Something that really hurts us on issues like this is the NPC meme is very real. We simply cannot compete with the left in terms of ideological homogeneity. Every single leftist drone that votes straight blue that turns out will vote for unlimited abortion 100% of the time. On the other hand, you absolutely have people who vote straight R who cross over and vote for it as well.

That being said, in the end with this specific instance, turnout seems to have been the difference.

Bouldabassed 10 points ago +10 / -0

I dont necessarily disagree with most of that, but at the same time I don't think, at least in Ohio, that the average voter supports a blank check for 9 month abortions. Just the shitty way it is worded makes a good chunk of people not realize that is what they are voting for.

For example, if the wording were changed to "the State cannot prevent one from getting an abortion at any point during a pregnancy up until birth" or something, I don't see that passing at all. It's the "only if their doctor signs off on it" that makes it so appealing to well-meaning normies, because they are too naive to realize that an abortionist can count as a doctor to give the green light.

Could be wrong though, I've been unpleasantly surprised before...

Regardless, it's kind of like the Biden vs Trump question. Regardless of whether the dirty politics and the weasel wording is the difference, the fact of the matter is anywhere from 40-60% of people who turnout to vote support anything from relatively unrestricted abortion to complete 9 month abortion no strings attached. Regardless of where that actual number falls the situation is still extremely dire, especially seeing as the numbers are likely worse among the younger generations.

Hard to see this remedying without a healing of moral values at a much more fundamental level. And it is hard to see that coming without a collapse of sorts. Tough situation.

Sorry boys. Ohio has fallen. Frustrating given the fact that this amendment is way more radical than the average voter. They did a stellar job of prettying it up and making it sound good with the wording.

Bouldabassed 11 points ago +11 / -0

I mean, I guarantee "clicks and clout" had a factor in it, but who gives a shit? The content is what matters most but leftist media rags will do whatever they can to deflect.

2
Bouldabassed 2 points ago +2 / -0

I am in favor of limits, but not bans, on abortion.

You're not expressing a view on this ballot measure

In a roundabout way they are though. This measure gives effectively a blank check so long as you can find a doctor to sign off on it. And trust me there will be plenty abortion activist doctors lining up to do so.

Ohioan here. Guarantee it would fail by a wide margin if everyone read and understood it. But people are ignorant and retarded so it is going to be close. Not feeling great about it but we have a chance.
