The general masses, who are either too entrenched in the lies or to uncaring to even notice a false flag when they see it.

Yeah, but as much an establishment goon as Cocaine Turtle is, he's still a Republican - the front-facing punching bags of the Uniparty.

Once a rioter torches a Dem rep's house or business, or even paints over their bricks, then I'll know that the establishment has lost control.

Until then, it's all theater.

Cobrai Kai is a series where the rival/villain of the first movie, Johnny Lawrence, starts a karate dojo modeled after the one from his youth to help social reject teenagers to gain the strength and character necessary to stand up to bullying.

So, from the start, you do have Cobra Kai sort of acting as the anti-PC squad. Johnny insults his students for their obvious physical flaws, and he has an innate abhorrence towards modern Leftist terminology and behavior. However, it's shown to be a positive thing, as he's doing it to toughen up his students, and it works; those who don't quit due to his behavior and harsh training do become more confident, stronger people, who are able to stand up to their former abusers.

However, a conflict arises as the mantra 'Strike First. Strike Hard. No Mercy.' which runs central to the Cobra Kai 'Way of the Fist' isn't properly tempered due to Johnny's inexperience at being a teacher, along with him being poisoned by his previous experience with John Kreese, the original sensei of Cobra Kai. In short, he doesn't know how to balance the concept of mercy with that of action. As a result, his students gain the very same 'do anything to win, no matter how dirty' mentality that Cobra Kai originally taught despite Johnny's efforts, and they gradually become the very bullies they originally wanted to fight against, much to Johnny's chagrin.

Things continue to escalate as Daniel LaRusso, the hero from the original movies, can't let his old biases go, and continues to antagonize Johnny and Cobra Kai, including convincing Johnny's landlord to raise his rent, and starting his own karate dojo to train students in Miyagi-Do karate. Further issues arise as John Kreese, long though dead by Johnny, comes out of hiding to take back the mantle as sensei of Cobra Kai, and solidify the 'No mercy' aspect of The Way of the Fist.

So, at first, Cobra Kai students aren't portrayed as the "bad guys" at all, just outcasts and misfits learning to fight against those who wrong them. However, as time goes on and Kreese's influence on the students grows, they effectively become the bad guys, counter Daniel's own karate students who have their own issues, but that's an analysis for another post.

Also, the PC attitude also affects Daniel, if only slightly: a bunch of people complain about cultural appropriation when he uses Japanese music and imagery to advertise his karate dojo.

I feel that way for a lot of things myself, so I know where you're coming from.

It doesn't help that the indoctrination has been turned up to 11 in recent times, so it's really becoming hard to see what's truly "woke" and when I'm just jumping at shadows.

Care to specify?

The wokest thing I can think of is Tory and Sam fighting against and beating boys their age, at their relative size or larger.

The latter is skilled from years of karate instruction, so it's relatively understandable, but even that was never so overt that it broke my suspension of disbelief.

I did mention in the top post that Netflix now has the broadcast rights for the show, and given their track record I expect Lefty influence to start permeating itself in Season 4 and possibly beyond (showrunner says he has 6 seasons worth of stories planned out).

As for Mandalorian, I don't watch it -- a show based entirely on fanservice is not enough for me to come crawling back to Star Wars -- but it's also my understanding that the Story Group and KK is virtually locked out of its production, which pisses them off to no end.

But, whatever the case for anything, let them go woke and lose viewers. It only hurts the dumbasses who are funding this shit. Anyone with a brain just doesn't watch.

As a counter to that, they're never treated with kid gloves, and dudes beat on them all the time.

The girls do fight males outside their weight class and win, even if it isn't frequent, but it's not nearly as bad as it could be.

I have to assume the latter, because, well, if you aren't familiar with just how... broken Black American culture truly is, it would be easy to dismiss it as fiction.

Just in case you weren't aware, he addressed this on his weekly Monday stream last week.

In short, he impromptu nuked his own Twitter account, then shortly re-established it.

He discussed it a bit more during yesterday's stream; he may move wholesale to Parlor, and feels his time on established social media sites is limited, whether by his own hand or by their's.

Being 'free' without being a member of an elite class is an anomaly within human history - by extension, so is the concept of an economic middle class.

It's mostly been lords and vassals, haves and have-nots throughout recorded history. And frankly it's sadly unsurprising that millennia of learned behavior would win out over a few hundred years of going against the grain.

I earnestly think it ties somewhat into the tribalistic mentality that humans are drawn towards: gotta follow the collective, gotta listen to the chief.

Once you recognize that most people are pre-disposed, arguably by design, to be sheep, what's happening is no surprise.

In a totally roundabout way, the media is in favor of Trump: Trump coverage gives them much-needed ratings, so his continued success is a net benefit for them.

However, to say they're biased to his benefit is a complete fantasy. They love to hate him, to cast him in a bad light, to turn every molehill into Mt. Vesuvius.

Unfortunately for them their propaganda is too overt, and a sizeable amount of people aren't buying their bullshit.

2020: Dan Rather uses the term "mansplaining" completely straight.

Gotta love the mainstream media, folks.

True or not, there was a lot of outrage and a lot of cancellations would be expected as a result. .

They (the 'Left') have been working on overdrive to push their warped ideologies on the populace. I think they're too blinded by their own self-assuredness to recognize that the frog doesn't like boiling water very much.

Hmmm...

Brian Fargo can maybe maneuver himself back to working on Fallout now?

Aside from that, I'm not seeing much benefit.

At first, sure. It's guaranteed.

But, a man can be punished. A movement once underway, as we've seen, is a helluva lot harder to quell.

Also worth mentioning that the "Doctor" who performed the 'independent autopsy', Dr. Michael Baden, also performed an 'independent autopsy' on Michael Brown.

In short, he's the guy you call when you want to incite the cry of racial injustice on the back of a dead man.

Maby some Eastern Asian nation will achieve something. It won't be South Korea though.

Maybe Japan? They've got a strong national identity, good economy, and are very resistant to Globalist efforts to diversify their population. Plus, when they get riled up, they tend to fuck shit up pretty damn spectacularly.

China obviously wants to be king shit, but they're universally reviled within the Pan-Asian region and they're teetering on the edge of economic collapse. They're definitely considered a rising world power for myriad good reasons, but I wouldn't be surprised if global animosity towards their expansionism and ignition of the COVID pandemic, coupled with an increased interest in reducing dependence on Chinese manufacturing, will weaken their influence enough to challenge their current ascent.

Personally, I've found keeping tabs on the ongoing disaster that is 2020 has taken precedence over any interest in gaming, or any other type of 'bread-and-circus' commodity, for that matter.

That being said, I do have the obligate Steam (and GOG) backlog to work through on my mid-range PC, which can still play any current titles at 1080P 60 FPS, depending on settings and optimization.

Additionally, the last console I bought was an Xbox One S when they released the Black Friday blue edition some years back, and I have no interest in buying any new console to succeed it.

The leftists and BLM Marxists are essentially using the Dem cities as a relatively safe training ground, building up their tactics knowledge and endurance for when they eventually push out into the rest of the country.

That's something I really wanted to work into my original comment, but forgot to, although I certainly did allude to it multiple times.

And it becomes painfully obvious if you compare the earliest rioter actions to their behavior today, as they've clearly evolved in tactics: adopting better weapons; better cohesion among their 'operatives'; they've become virtual experts at stretching official response thin while also being able to disorient and overwhelm select targets with lasers, strobes, crowds; effectively becoming a self-contained insurgency by utilizing a mix of defensive and offensive agents who all dress in an identity-concealing uniform, making it hard to identify high-priority individuals; etc., etc., etc.

You can find AARs (After Action Reports) and articles (here's a decent one: https://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/2020/08/25/contextual-insurgency-lessons-from-a-week-observing-portland-black-bloc/) on the rioters which lays all this out perfectly. There's a story floating around (that sadly I can't locate at this time) of a former SF guy and his buddies being completely overwhelmed by an effective ANTIFA/BLM response which included the utilization of pepper spray and strobe lights. I had my suppositions before, but reading that was the lighbulb moment that made me fully realize how serious these Marxists really are, and how dangerous they can truly be.

So that's why I can't find any wisdom in Razor's rant this time; he's either willfully ignorant of what these riots truly represent, or is too damn eager to underestimate the rioters as the soy-guzzling, Twitter-spamming, crybullies they appear to be, rather than acknowledge them as the increasingly dangerous insurgent force they're developing into.

10
BewareTheSuperman 10 points ago +10 / -0

I like Razor, and he's usually on the nose when it comes to political issues -- that's where he made his start after all.

All the same, I feel that he's not entirely recognizing the severity of what's happening with these riots, and what they could lead to.

Yes, there is an ongoing conflict between the establishment Left and the hardliner socialist Left that is currently burning down Dem cities, and starting to put even Democrat politicians on alert, if Lightfoot's legion-strong police protection detail is any indication.

But just because they're currently concentrated in Lefty cities doesn't mean that's where this will end. The rioters -- ANTIFA, BLM, and unaffiliated belligerents alike -- are already starting to try an branch out to suburbs and other politically neutral to Red areas. Appropriately, they're meeting push back, both because they're no longer in areas where they're receiving overwhelming establishment support and protection, and because they're encountering people who aren't going to take their shit. But, they're still trying to expand outwards from the comfort of the chaotic sanctuaries afforded them by the Democrats, and it's likely they'll only get more brazen with their efforts as time goes on.

Additionally, we have to remember that these organizations have a mission -- tear down the US establishment and replace it with a Marxist system -- and foreign-sourced support in the form of money, training, and personnel. They're scarily effective at playing to sympathies and keeping their profile low when it counts while still managing to rack up some serious damage, obviously helped by an apathetic-if-not-allied media front. And although it's not extensive as of yet, they do have blood on their hands and are clamoring for more.

Admittedly, I could be overreacting, but I just don't want people to be blindsided by the New Red Guard tearing down everything around them because they were comforted by the belief that this is just a Leftist tamper tantrum, a political civil war that won't lead to anything other than a deeply-gutted Democratic party and a bunch of tuckered out, placated belligerents.
