I've had others advocate using Rules for Radicals for awhile now - no major thinkers, mind you, but people close to me who were already prepping themselves. So much so that I have a copy in hand.

Conservatives are rarely staunch supporters of old values in totality, just the values that existed when they were younger, or in their heyday. And what's becoming more acceptable as the Overton Window shifts ever Left?
I'll give you a hint: Lefty degeneracy and policy.
Combine that with the vast passing of social trends due to the speed at which information flows in our interconnected society, and you'll see that the "right" will begin to more quickly adopt and field the tactics of the "left" against them.

Without knowing the full context, I have a feeling that applied to the promotion of degeneracy.

Straight up invasion, however, still seems a vastly unlikely possibility, since no other nation on Earth has the capability to form an effective force, even combined with other nations. Being surrounded by ocean East and West and hard-to-navigate terrain at our North and South is a huge boon strategically.

It's tough, but you have to start underground first. All kinds of dissidents and freakshows managed to find one another before the internet made communication and fringe outreach much easier; it'll be a lesson we need to learn again.
Also, we'll need to lose the phones; communicate only person-to-person, or via hand-delivered written message only; direct communication can't be hacked.
Also, forming at the local level and expanding outward to create a bulwark against Fed interference is a must.

Having said that, it could take decades or even centuries, and that's really the scary part; spending the rest of my natural life in a world where a very small group of people have pronounced control on everything and everyone.
All the same, eventually every empire falls, and trying to treat 7 billion+ people like serfs or cattle will strain whatever systems are put in place pretty far.

I think it's important to keep calling out the double-standards practiced by the Left.
Not because we can make them suffer under the same standards they set up for their detractors - it's become clear that they see themselves as superior, and so they don't have to answer for their actions, even if they're guilty of the exact same shit they punish others for.
In other times, it would be called the "Divine Right of Kings", but since the Left abhors all other gods above the State, call it the... "Secular Right of State Supremacy" or some other tripe.
Rather, it's important because it redpills those moderates who are on the cusp of "waking up".
