"Talmbout?"

This bull is why I've started making an active effort to stop saying "gonna" and "sorta" and the like.

The Q Continuum trilogy: Q-Space, Q-Zone, and Q-Strike, in that order.

They might all be in an omnibus now.

They take place on the Enterprise-E, between the Voyager episodes "The Q and the Grey" and "Q2." This is a plot point.

They resolve a lot of the stranger plot devices from TOS and the movies--ever wonder what that entity at the end of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier was all about? You'll find out in those books...

The exact line was "Do you have a stick up your ass? Or are you just one of those dumbass Gamergate freakshows?"

The anime was Prison School.

The backlash was so bad that they re-dubbed the line to something more accurate for the disc release, but AFAIK, the original dub line can still be heard on Crunchyroll.

No, I know the movie was called that. The Ukraine pun came after. I'm not sure what you mean here.

I was talking about what you said in another topic. I told you "God help me, take my upvote and scram," because I'd never heard it before.

I really don't want to agree with you...but they brought this on themselves.

I was in eighth grade when I first saw Sailor Moon, which got me into anime as a whole.

And this was before it made Toonami--this was on the USA Network's Action Extreme Team block.

When I saw Neon Genesis Evangelion for the first time, I was 40.

Even though production completely fell apart by the finale, I still adored it and End Of.

But you seriously hated the movies?

Oh, so THAT'S where your joke came from!

I saw Eva for the first time this year. It really does deserve to be as revered as it is.

I should watch the movies soon.

John Oliver's videos on WWE and FIFA are still great. I'll give him those.

But the vast majority of his monologues, yes, I agree.

I agree with that first one in part.

When a company goes public, its mission statement changes from "provide the best possible product to customers" to "increase shareholder value in perpetuity."

That's all that matters anymore. Not quality. Shareholders. Stock price. Maximizing cash flow.

Private companies are "Are we in the black? Cool." Publicly-traded ones are "Profits, profits, profits."

But something tells me that's not what the retweeter was going for.

I'm upvoting you just for doing that much homework.

This is one of the reasons WD-40 was never patented--and why there are no generics.

A patent would require them to disclose how it's made.

The anime is mandated to only cover ONE manga chapter per episode.

On one hand, this prevents anime-only filler, which is the trap Naruto and Shippuden (especially the latter) fell into.

On the other hand, this gives the anime some serious pacing issues, which are a major reason I could never get into it. A manga chapter that takes 8-10 minutes to read, tops, is stretched out across at least 22 minutes.

Not that it'll matter here. It's Netflix. It WILL be woke.

See also: flat-earthers.

Saw one on another win last night counter every piece of logic and evidence with a diatribe ending in the same two words:

"Not proof."

Even worse because the woman who inspired the Aunt Jemima character was a FREED SLAVE!

She was a self-made woman, someone to ASPIRE to be like!

What did you think of 16bit Sensation?

Thanks, man.

Yesterday, I weighed myself, and found I'd gotten under 200 pounds for the first time in almost two decades.

Still got a lot of work to do to reach my target weight, but I can no longer keep my pants or shorts up without tying them or using a belt. That's a good feeling, man.
