I would agree that one must be at peace with themselves before they can be at peace with God, but sexuality never has to enter that conversation. In my observation, if sexuality defines who you are, or is a big part of who you are, your achievements will be few and your health will be in rapid decay.

verily thou must resist the temptations of the devil. it is written: for whom it is that betrays their Master shall receive the 9th circle of hell as their eternal punishment. but verily, for ye who should put ketchup on sushi commits a sin not fathomed by mutiny. by the laws of our savior, the man who imbibes shall receive a punishment greater than all the nine circles of hell.

the market as a whole is declining because the market itself alienated half of its audience.

if you enjoyed that game, I highly recommend the switch remake. for once they actually did a one-for-one remake. the mechanics and dungeon layouts are all exactly the same, it's just a coat of 3D paint.

the thing I find appealing about the N64 and GameCube era zelda games was the variety in gameplay, though the N64 era seemed to have more variety than the gamecube era. at one moment you were fighting a bad guy, in the next you were figuring out a timing puzzle, and the moment after you were running away from a wall of flames. even every enemy has a unique way to deal with it that's unlike the others.

Most modern RPGs have very same or similar enemies that just tweak their timings and animations, in the combat style remains largely the same even if the difficulty shifts. the game challenges you to get better at the same thing throughout the adventure, rather than challenging you to learn new things as you progress.

hardly any games have good puzzles anymore, and adventure has become ADHD micro secrets every two feet. you hardly ever have to talk to NPCs to figure things out and collect data, and each puzzle can be completed in a matter of seconds.

I feel like a lot of modern games overstay their welcome without mixing things up. I find myself unable to finish most games nowadays, not necessarily because they're too hard, but because I get over the game after the 20th hour.

I'm in between games right now. I get a lot of enjoyment out of metrovanias an adventure games that follow the N64 Zelda formula.

I thought Minecraft was neat when it came out, but I am genuinely sick of the survival crafting genre.

not to mention severity is arbitrary. I'm sure wearing a pillow on my head would reduce the severity of the wound I get from my skull being crushed by sledgehammer.

the first thing I noticed was the amount of CG. one of the things that made fury road such a spectacle was the sheer cojones behind their stunt work. this movie just looks like more marvel slop, and it's not even marvel.

I wouldn't be surprised about the erectile dysfunction parts, given the immense increase of pornography consumption over the last couple of decades. that said, she's still ugly.

I am fortunate enough to be on good terms with my extended family and cousins. we've been doing the same get together pretty much every year almost since I was born.

there was one year when we were little where my brother got a hold of an r-rated Christmas comedy that we watched in secret on Christmas Eve. watching that same movie every Christmas Eve became a tradition among our generation in the family for years, but it finally got old a couple years ago. now we hang out drinking beer on Christmas eve, while each one of us tries to sneak away to put our presents under the tree.

an adult who is liable to beat someone senseless when he can't play videogames should be locked up. end of story.

I like to think it's a quarantine. If someone is too dangerous to roam free, we isolate them until they are no longer dangerous.

in theory, anyway.

Warcraft.

I could never get into world of warcraft, and I've always been shit at RTS games, but I genuinely loved the Warcraft RTS games regardless. They did an excellent job with world building and navigating nuanced characters. The Well of Eternity book series was also really good.

World of Warcraft added nothing to the story on its initial release, and slowly chipped away at the integrity of the world and characters with each expansion. The rot has only snowballed into levels I couldn't even fathom 10 years ago.

I suppose the part about coming from a foreign country notable, given the different standards for liability across Nations. that said, companies in the United States lie about the ingredients of their shit all the time, just look at olive oil. it's not an issue exclusive to "brown people"
