For those who don't know, the Dickens fair is a decently famous Christmas Fair that takes place in the San Francisco Cow Palace every year. being themed around the works of Charles Dickens, the fair is essentially a Renaissance faire that takes place in Victorian London instead of the renaissance period.

When I heard the words "San Francisco Christmas Fair", I was bracing myself for the ultimate cringe and a deluge of woke bullshit. I'm happy to report that the Dickens fair was very true to its theme, and I really could not spot any woke bullshits coming out of the participants or shows that they put on. the sideshow attractions and musical performances were very period accurate, and the performers seemed very enthusiastic about the theme.

no strong independent black women upstaging and enlightening the ragged Londoners. No pride flags. No lecturing about the evils of European culture. the participant who played Father Christmas throughout the fair was white and looked the part.

it was very refreshing.

I had the misfortune of running into a leftist analysis on Rich Men North of Richmond today. the thing that made me stop watching was when he said

in the next lyric, we can clearly see where this guy gets his news

gets his news

It made me think about my conversations with both leftists and Qtards alike, where they constantly talk about how news source x is unreliable and news source y is the one that tells the truth.

Anyone who is here from GamerGate knows that news sources are unreliable as fuck, as well as being highly prone to lies by omission and otherwise pushing an agenda. this is been true from CNN, to Fox News, to Zero Hedge, to Breitbart, to MSNBC, to any other online blogging rag.

This a world where if someone is simply "getting their news" from somewhere, they do not have the whole truth and are likely in a complete bubble.

One should not be "getting their news", one should be hunting the news and hunting the truth. anything less means you are just believing what someone else wants you to believe.

Unity is coming out with a new pricing model for 2024, where game developers will have to fork over money every time someone installs their game. this includes redownloads of already bought games, and downloads of games from places like game pass. it also applies to game demos and free games. it even applies if someone transfers a game from one device to another.

the policy applies if your company makes over $200,000 in yearly revenue and the game has been downloaded over a certain number of times in its entire lifetime.

there are rumors that gambling games and gotcha games are exempt.

I know I know, Matt Patt. Cringe aside, I was very surprised he would make a video on this subject, so I gave it a watch and thought his take was interesting.

tl,dw: movie critics like movies that take risks and attempt to push the boundaries, while audiences like movies that are fun and nostalgic. The movie industry profits from this dynamic because it creates an us-versus-them dichotomy between audiences and critics, making audiences easier to market to.

Africa has very low vaccination

Africa also has very low case rate

Africa also has very low death rate

Vaccinated possibly world spreaders

Blaming the unvaccinated doesn't make sense

This is all shit we already knew, but an MSM source saying this will make the normies listen.
