The pictures of mass burial holes we've seen included many non-Jews, and likely many German soldiers as well.
Back in college, sometimes I'd just look up the class schedules, and if I had an opening, I'd just show up to one that interested me, even without being registered. It's how I learned to speak German.

She's not a complete nobody, so I would disagree with anyone calling her such. But you're right that she's not really someone we should be concerned about that much either, just like pretty much all of those other twitch thots, beyond acknowledging the poison they are for society as a whole, and the horrible example they make for other women and our daughters.

I've seen her on a couple of youtube videos with a panel of media commentators like Drinker and Nerdrotic, too. Not in quite a long time, at least a couple months, but she's still got enough of a presence online to make me disagree with u/Sumsuch.
Thinking about it, the US conquering Canada is probably the only way that Quebec would ever be able to get support for separation again. Not to mention, the Labrador area, which hated Quebecers so much in the past, that they demanded they not be considered a part of Quebec, but rather a part of Newfoundland. If the US were to conquer the rest of Canada and they had a choice between being a part of the US or Quebec, they might actually choose to side with the latter.
Not that I expect that scenario to ever occur, anyhow. Quebec is now so dependent on the rest of Canada that it would never be able to have a thriving economy, if its every borders are countries giving it the cold shoulder. It has vast agricultural lands and a very profitable pharmaceutical industry, but those heavily rely on exporting goods. Tariffs to cross borders to Ontario, the Maritimes or the US would hurt them a lot. But at least they'd have reliable electricity.
But everyone already knows the story. There's no mystery, there's no surprise. All the charm is already gone, because everything they'll show has already been done, and likely done better.
Is this actually going to turn up a profit? I think that this will only make people appreciate the books and movies more. This will likely just turn into another failed reboot, barely worth the salaries of the actors, the price of production, and the costs of advertisement.
Sure. But is profit the only reason? What are they trying to do differently than the original movies, other than more closely follow the character ages while horribly miscasting the actors? Was there a particular thing that was done so badly that it justified retelling the exact same story for 95% of the runtime?
If this was a spin-off, then I'd understand. If they were making a series based on "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality", I'd definitely support it. But they seem to only be redoing what has already been done in an unnecessary reboot.
A small detail, but currently I'm curious to learn whether it's just Nomamoto's strange tastes that make her enjoy eating aliens, or if it'll become more widespread. After all, Kitami clearly stated that he hated the smell and was disgusted at the thought of ingesting them. So is it just women that find the smell and taste appealing, is it randomly just every other person, or is it just her? And the corollary question, is it only men who are disgusted by the taste and smell, is it every other random person, or is it just him?
The answer to those questions seem like they will affect how commonplace their actions might spread in their society.
