-A lot of their misery, and our societies in general, is deeper and biological. Feminism has waged a war on masculinity and men, and now they're wondering why there are so few "good men" and the ones that do exist won't commit to them at all.
-Combining feminism with social media and online dating has set women's biological hypergamy to overdrive. Combine this with the ruin of men and you get women with 100 simp slaves to exploit. Sure this is fun, but it doesn't last and existentially it's hollow. They find the simps disgusting.

The key here is that women truly are more miserable today than they ever were. "When the gods wish to punish us they answer our prayers." springs to mind. This comment makes me sad, because I know several women who it describes perfectly. I have watched leftism destroy them, their future, and the future their children could have had. Instead, they have to get ever-more extreme to keep in the dating pool, much less try and keep a guy interested. And the most infuriating thing is watching their mothers approve this folly.
Parental failings across generations is an issue I don't think gets addressed enough. With community more generally unraveling in the modern world, the role of parental guidance becomes ever more important, but there's a lot of families that aren't offering good advice to their offspring. That failure in duty is wreaking havoc on so many levels, even in good stable nuclear families that you think are doing everything right.
In this case, the failings were mostly her mother's. Her (step)dad was an excellent man, role model, wonderful guy... and her mom divorced him because he sided with family members who scolded mom and daughter for getting drunk at a holiday meal.
It's exactly what happened with Taylor Swift. She used to be an innocent country girl/farmer's daughter singing about getting married and having kids. I call it "small fish, big pond" syndrome. Girl grows up in small(ish) town to decently wealthy parents. Moves to bigger town, has to put out to stay socially relevant. Moves to BIG town, is still small fish, ends up getting swallowed whole. Ends up unable to cope with fact that they are small fish in big pond, dissolves into self-destructive behavior.

What's become very apparent to me since WuFlu made all our meetings remote forced me to interact with people I usually wouldn't is how feminized the office has become. It's hard to describe, but it's most noticeable when I see people in our site meetings chat feel-good empty platitudes and praise at each other for what seem like very non-noteworthy accomplishments. And what's worse is it's starting to infect people I've known and worked with for years who I know under normal circumstances wouldn't act like this.
Our last company-wide meeting had a title that made it sound like I was going to prom instead of a serious business meeting.
I don't see much of a future here for myself and people like me, to be honest. Probably for the best; better to build up our own institutions instead of support ones run by those who hate us.
I'd take it further and say that in all aspects of society we need to start thinking that way. Don't use public schools: homeschool or get together with a group of neighborhood families. Organize your own outings instead of putting your kids through Scouts. Teach your kids to organize pickup games instead of signing them up to sports leagues. Start your own social clubs with people who share your values and have similar goals. Start your own businesses and patronize those of like-minded individuals.
And then gatekeep it all like crazy.
Until all of your groups are on the evening news as racist/sexist/etc and some diversity hire judge forces you to integrate.
This will just cause your kids to view you as the crazy parents that doesn't let them do anything with their friends and they will hate you.
Yeah, starting up your own company doesn't mean shit. Here in Minneapolis, there's Muslim-owned Middle Eastern restaurant called Holy Land. It's one of the most well-known and has been around for ages. A few months ago, they immediately lost the lease to their uptown location because somebody dug up some anti-black post the owner's daughter made 12 or 13 years ago. This was right when the Fentanyl Floyd shit started going down. The only reason they have their original location is because they owned it outright. Nobody and nothing is safe, really.

Luckily my team is almost entirely male. There are like 2 girls that are in other teams that frequently work with us but that is about it. When those 2 are not in the meeting is a lot of swearing and some colorful and fun language going on. There is something about someone telling you to fucking do this or that and stop wasting time instead of some stupid passive aggressive shit that resonates with me. I love it.
That's the way it used to be, and my department used to have a "handshake agreement" with HR where they'd deliberately avoid our part of the building so they couldn't find something to be offended by. There's still some of that, but some of the more colorful people have gotten promotions that limit their ability to talk like that; and the HR manager we had that "handshake agreement" with is no longer there. So it's moving in the wrong direction.

I anticipate I will eventually end up being fired for either refusing to comply with some WuFlu policy or refusing to take "diversity and inclusion" training when they inevitably make it mandatory (currently it is optional).
My counterpart in the mechanical engineering department is similarly unhappy, and I wouldn't be surprised if he retires in the next year. If/when these events happen they will be in bad shape for quite some time, though the company is too big and bureaucratic for them to actually change any policies as a result.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the waves the Chanposter is noticing started decades back. Hell, I saw it myself when I was trying to get into college 25 years ago. Scholarships left and right for women, minorities, people from lower-income strata, and athletes. If you were a white male from a middle-class family who probably couldn't pay to help your tuition? "Get fucked, take out loans" was the effective answer we were given.
If I had it all to do over again, I'd probably have said "fuck it" and went into a decent trade, like electrical or HVAC work, and did the self-employed/contractor thing. I would have had a hell of a lot less debt and probably would be living easy by now instead of wondering how the hell I'm going to retire before I hit age 70.
This is my worst fear. Every time I see downsizing the only ones to go are white males. In 5 years no one will hire me on a different project then the one I am on, even at reduce pay my skills do not transfer that well so why pick me instead of someone 10-15 years younger then me. I've thought about it a lot and I am not prepared to be a dead beat, if I ever get in a point were I can't work I am tapping out.
It's never too late to start learning something new, on your own time, or try and parlay a hobby into a side hustle. I've given serious thought to taking classes in locksmithing or learning how to do 3D-modeling as a side gig.

I also used to be cynical about the whole thing but after listening to veterans from all eras, mostly on JockoPodcast, I changed my mind about service. Even if the war itself is "unjust" and the string-pullers are self-serving, those who are willing to fight are good and patriotic individuals who deserve respect and deference.
Also, if you are a nerd, there are a ton of jobs that don't require leaving a base, or even leaving the country.
Back when I was in high school, for whatever reason, my entire class took the ASVAB test. They never really told us why or gave us the option to opt out of it (which was probably illegal), and most of us just thought it was part of a standardized high school vocational aptitude test that everyone took. We had no clue it was a test for pre-entry to the armed services. I did pretty decent in most of the sections and had recruiters ringing our phone off the hook for a couple months after that, before they finally all got the clue that they needed to piss off and I wasn't signing up for anything.
Hindsight being 20/20, I probably could have gotten into a decent position in the air force or army and made a career out of that, but this was also around the same time as things were winding down for the Gulf War, so chances were good I probably would have been shipped overseas, and I don't know how cool I would have been with that.

I feel this pretty bad too. I took a gamble in college and went into physics in hopes of going to graduate school for astronomy. I knew I'd have to make good grades, do undergrad research, get published, and make good scores on the GRE.
I graduated cum laude with BS in physics, almost killed myself doing undergrad research, got published, and did fine, but not amazing on the GRE. I applied to a total of 15 grad schools, and got denied by every single one of them. I have no fuckin' clue what I could have done differently, other than be literally perfect.
Now here I am, with no work experience to speak of because I went to school instead of working, and now I'm hopelessly overqualified for most work, but I won't get hired for any of it because I have no experience, and I'm hopelessly underqualified for anything that might make use of my now worthless degree.
Should have just been an engineer. I could have moved to Midland, and been making six figures by now.
