As a fan of the original show, who watched every episode from the day it first aired, I’ll never watch this POS new series. Makes no sense, David Duchovny and Gilliam Anderson don’t look terrible these days, they could definitely still play those roles for a few more seasons but that would be doing the series justice and we can’t have that….bring in the mud people

Was never a fan of scully, thought she looked too meh. As time has (dragged) on, she now looks like a supermodel in comparison.
Two seasons. Which in today's climate, is actually the rough equivalent of one season from back in the day (when X-Files was actually a thing) that's split in two, and was only produced that way to give the illusion that the studio has an efficient production schedule and isn't going to just produce half-seasons from that point on on the off-chance that the show ACTUALLY does well.
