There are a myriad of ways to get rich as a politician. The choose this one because it destroys the country in the process. It's self loathing combined with extreme ego, they want to kill themselves but think they also think they're the most important thing in the world so the whole world has to go with them. Why would I--or anyone--give a shit whether or not he's informed about geopolitics? Why would I--or anyone--watch a guy who goes (went) by "hoe math" for some kind of nuanced treatise on geopolitics?
This is truly very strange to me, just a totally oddball assertion. Not every entertainment product out there has to be some kind of one-stop-shop that delivers to you everything you want to hear about.
H_M is this guy. He has a good data-driven analytical mind, and somehow he's managed to pick up a good amount of psychology and social psychology without absorbing the bullshit liberal baggage that almost always comes with that knowledge. 99% of what he does is apply social psychology, some game theory, some theories of personality (like Myers-Briggs, which I think is kind of bullshit, but it can be used as a lens), and basic microeconomics, to explain modern social behavior, with a focus on the modern woman.
Complaining that what he tweeted about Iran is not necessarily the most informed, is like standing in a Burger King screaming "WHERE'S MY FALAFEL!?"
It's because of the AWFLs part. Arch hates it whenever anyone talks badly about White women. Whenever anyone posts something that makes White women look bad, even if it's just some specific segment of White women like the crazy liberal ones, he will run damage control for the women and insinuate that the post is ragebait or jew propaganda.

So many people think empathy means caring about and respecting other people. That's not empathy, that's altruism. And if you only care about the people that think like you, much like the modern liberal, that's narcissistic altruism.
to have empathy is to have the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes and and make a good faith attempt to think like them. Not your idealized version of them, a genuine attempt to reconstruct their wants, needs, and motivations.
