It's not a "prank." To start with, they're not ding-dong ditching, they're kicking in doors while wearing masks and holding toy guns. And they're doing it to hype themselves up and take it a little farther, like jumping off of increasingly tall spots into the river. They're testing and pushing the boundaries until they get to actual robbery outright.
If Texans don't rally behind the shooter, they will lose their right to defend their homes in the future. This has turned into yet another battle between people who think they should be able to defend their homes and people who think nobody should have that right. It's bigger than some Hispanic dude shooting a black kid who was a criminal.
Yeah those poor teens just going around at night time ringing doorbells and trying to kick doors down while wearing ski masks and carrying fake guns, they were just having fun, why would the evil White man shoot them!
They're not talking about it because they don't want people to know what's really happening. It's not a "prank", it's trend of fake armed robbery from tik tok. Practiced almost exclusively by blacks.
Well then it doesn't make sense to assume that this is what happened in this story.
If this man's door was being kicked down/the kids were masked/had fake guns, then yeah I could potentially understand this, but assuming it happened here just because you saw it happen on the internet somewhere else is stupid af
That is what happened here. That's why the clearly concerted push to persecute this guy. Because the goal of the left is to criminalize self defense and to give free reign to subhumans.
The more important question is why are you claiming it didn't? There's zero evidence of your claims on one side, and a widely known and publicly documented trend of this "prank" on the other.
After I saw the tweet, I looked up the story to get more information. I found multiple sources discussing it, and every single one said that the kid rang the doorbell and ran away. None even seem to mention this ski mask tiktok trend that others are assuming happened.
Of course that isn't evidence, per se, but as far as the recount of events goes that is the current story.
The only people talking about the ski mask thing seem to be users on this forum, so that's what I'm looking to verify.
Both things can exist, where there is a viral dangerous "prank" happening in some places, and in this particular story it's a ding dong ditch.
It's a simple question: how are users here concluding that this kid did the viral trend when every story talks about it as ding dong ditch (which, arguably, is another viral trend, albeit much older)?
Your redirect seems to indicate that you're just assuming
No wonder the dude wasnt immediately charged. Probably wouldnt chase them off the property to shoot them in their back.
Id probably make up a story like my daugther is coming home at the same time and she usually takes the same route and dont want her to run into hostiles with "guns".
Cannon Hinnant. I don't give a fuck when a black kid gets himself shot for stupidity when white kids are shot just for existing with barely a mention and zero sympathy from the media. Cry me a river.

You don't hate journalists enough.
Total Journo Death
Sorry, is this what happened in the story? All accounts I found say that they just rang the doorbell.

Probably why we should shoot more of them
And repatriate the rest back to Africa.
Just like good ol' Abe Lincoln wanted all along.
Direct consequence of forced desegregation.
Where is the ski mask information coming from? No story I have has a ski mask or kicking in doors.
This is why 3rd world countries were never able to become even 2nd world countries
considering the 2nd world was the soviet union and its allies that's probably a good thing

If you act like you're breaking into houses in a high crime area, you should expect someone to shoot you.
Kid played retarded games, won retarded prizes.
It's ding dong ditch
Christ next you'll say that someone calling and asking if you're refrigerator is running should be hanged.
People here are sooooooft
The chart is proven correct again.
Yeah those poor teens just going around at night time ringing doorbells and trying to kick doors down while wearing ski masks and carrying fake guns, they were just having fun, why would the evil White man shoot them!
Where is the detail about fake guns coming from? I haven't seen a single account talk about the kid wearing a mask or kicking down doors.

How is it that you know that this is what happened here? Just guessing? Or is there any actual evidence of it?

Brown on black crime. Guess the BLM types will start helping ICE now.
In the absence of further evidence, I'm inclined to believe you have these swapped.
Get it right, it's called nigger knocking.

Dude chased the kid out off of his property and shot in the back.
That's murder all day long, which is why he's been charged, and why he will be convicted.
