One of the most recent trends in the post COVID era is the mass importation of doctors who were never credentialed or took residency in the US. This is so prevalent now that as of July 2025, 17 states (mostly red states including Florida and Texas) have passed legislation requiring no residency or medical schooling for foreign doctors to practice in the US, 3 (Wa, Cal, NY) have limited licensing pending full, 7 have pending legislation for full, legislation has failed in 8 states.
This is constantly swept under the rug as health outcomes are getting worse and congress still refuses to tell the AMA to go fuck themselves and increase US trained doctors while eliminating DEI admits. It’s now going to be cheaper for an American to go to medical school and do residency overseas then come back to the US.
If you think the socialized Medicaid/care and pharmaceutical industry is corrupt now, wait until 500k more jeet doctors are imported.
While I don't want Pajeets as doctors, "US medical standards" are absolutely garbage anyway. Thailand medical and dental facilities are a million times better and cheaper. I won't go anywhere else.
I can’t tell if you’re joking, I also have issues with the US system but that doesn’t mean I’d trust Thailand more
Not joking. The Thai government built an entire facility just for medical tourism with their best and brightest. You can see a specialist of anything you want without having to book months in advance. My wife got corrective eye surgery there and it was life changing.
Dentists are incredible as well, and I might add that when you have someone working on your mouth the diminutive hands of a Thai are much better than having some ham beast cramming their sausage fingers in your mouth.
Additionally most antibiotics are over the counter at pharmacies, and you can even get western brands if you like.
I have many stories of getting ripped off by European and US doctors only to have the Thai doctor sort it out for much less.
thailand average iq 88, good luck!
The mean is meaningless when actual merit based systems ensure only the best make it.
The average only matters if you are in the US system where they grab random browns.
Exactly. India is notorious for faking credentials, but doctors from Australia or Europe and many other places aren't inferior to American doctors.
But also I don't know why anyone would immigrate to America now... LOL.
Agreed. I don't need an AMA cartel to have year-by-year economic based admission standards rather than merit based to decide who can proscribe antibiotics for pinkeye, when you could just get it from the animal feed store if you didn't mind breaking federal law by doing so.
How does one get those medications from the animal feed store? Pretend to have a horse or something?
Place it on the counter and let them ring you up. At least that is how it used to be.
Says on the box that it is not for human consumption and is illegal to consume.
Most used to be on amazon too, probably still is, pretty sure that is where people get ivermectin and crap like that. Amazon vendors have a sketch record for drugs though, even for a horse I would go brick and mortar.
Add in Amazon vendor product commingling.
You have to specifically pick Prime shipping and Seller:Amazon.com just to get rid of all the chink shit clogging every page, and even then you might still get a chink counterfeit thank to commingling.
Agreed. American doctors suck too. Not entirely their fault with all the rules and regulations basically making them insurance monkeys, but I think that’s the bigger issue than the jeets. Still don’t want the jeets though. Rather have things be deregulated. The average person now is about as competent as a doctor for most minor things after a quick search. Sometimes better. I have an unlimited number of bad doctor stories.
You used to be able to vote with your wallet when selecting healthcare.
Then insurance and private equity moved in and reduced choices across the board or made them so expensive to go "out of network" that you'd never even dare. They've been in love with this idea since Kaiser Permanente came into existence.
So there are effectively "no standards" as there are "no choices." If there were choices then you would actually get to see the absurdly high standards that American Healthcare sets for itself.
As for Thailand they still have choice. For now. You can see the wheels turning inside that kingdom as well. It's only a matter of time. The people with the money see us all as cattle and now that they have the technology to "control" us they're going to move in and bleed us all dry.
Enjoy it while it lasts wherever you are.
As I said: One party wants to replace you. The other party also wants to replace you, but legally!
Aren't you grateful for all these real and meaningful choices the system graciously permits you to make?
Republicans have a giant schism between the old GOP boomer types and the younger "alt right memesters."
Those old guys only care about their money and and line go up. And fucking up the medical field so they get the good doctors and us poors are left with the public hospital Jeets and negros. Like most problems in this country, they assume (usually correctly) that NIMBY is in full effect and they can reap all the monetary and power benefits of these machinations while safe in their little bubbles.
Its why so many on the "Right" are not our allies and never have been. They are in it for the "no rules or regulations!" side of Conservatism to abuse the fuck out of everything for their own sake. Government exists only to bully out their competition.
The Democrats are a problem in all the ways we discuss regularly, but the Republican ranks are filled with these types. Its why every week this year we have a "Trump voting business owner shocked as ICE raids his warehouse!"
A big chunk of old time Republicans are just businessmen. Hence their whole obsession with gdp and the economy. And why so many of them are guilty of hiring illegal immigrants and refusing to actually protect the border.
Businessmen who got their foot in the door long ago, whether through slimy means or just outright nepobaby investments. So they are decades removed from both the reality of the country right now and having to actually work from the bottom at anything.
It makes most of them, even those who are tenuously on "our side," basically working against our interest most of the time. Either by trying to let their business, and partners, abuse us endlessly (under the guise of free market) or just outright selling off our country/community to whatever will make line go up.
And this did/does apply to Trump too, though he seems to have decided in his old age to dedicate the end of it to his "legacy" to be seen as this American Hero instead of just being richer and richer.
I haven't had any healthcare insurance for the last 4 years
And i have kids
So it is a risk but the goal is to live such a healthy lifestyle we can avoid the medical system. I would like to get blood work done annually but even that i can't trust anyone with. Wish i could buy equipment to test my own blood so i can read the contents and diagnose potential medical problems.
Oh wait. I'm a fucking vampire. LOL i'm immortal.
In this situation you prepare multiple samples and send it to multiple labs. If they all agree then you can have higher confidence in those readings.
It's not the equipment so much but the reagents. Anyways if you do want to do this then look at old school 1960s and 1970s laboratory text books on how this work was done. You may not get the fancy printout but you can at least have some data to do diagnostics with.
Interesting.
iirc medical debt is going back on your credit scores, so this may not be a good idea for anyone who is looking to accomplish anything credit-related
The solution would be free postsecondary for us nationals, stopping teaching caps for new doctors if they exist, and banning foreigners.
If there is anything I've learned over my lifetime it is that the uniparty is fucking gawful. This is why I have long railed around trying to get people to understand that our real enemy is the First Past The Post election process it self.
The way to solve this is with a ranked choice system but then you have many people, especially on the right or (supposedly right...) Republican side who haven't done the research and haven't figured out that the RCV is not the bogyman that they have been conned into believing.
They think Alaska is an example of a scam against them, it very well may have been a scam but the scam was scaring them into thinking that it was to steal the election for the Democrats. The actual scam was to scare the right/Republican base against RCV and in that way it worked.
The key thing to understand is that neither side of the uniparty wants a RCV system, it destroys the uniparty stranglehold on our political system. Here is an intro to the basics of why we need to kill FPTP if we are ever to restore our republic.

First, fire all the doctors and nurses who object to the shot.
Instead of re-hiring them, just hire tons of foreign doctors who may or may not be qualified.
Problem created and then solved successfully.
Great success.
The AMA and the Osteopathic equivalent is basically just lying to congress while lobbying them. Squeezing supply helps keep salaries high while also keeping suckers throwing away their lives to get into a US medical school.
Nurses and Nurse practitioners are already eating into their prophets and will continue to get more power.
This should be a big issue.
Remember the term "Iatrogenic harm/death"
Seems crazy that the AMA is allowing this when it's obliterating their credential cartel.
Unfortunately federal student loans got kneecapped, which is going to make it even harder for anyone to get through medical school if they aren't already from a rich family.
The effects of this won't be felt for about 7 years, since it takes a good while for someone to get through such education.
So suddenly America's doctor shortage problem will get a LOT worse since there will be far fewer new doctors entering the field to replace those that are retiring or quitting.
What do? Wellllll the damage cannot be easily fixed, since it would take about ANOTHER 7 years to undo it to allow students to afford to become doctors and get through the pipeline.
Solution? That's right. Just import some foreign doctors to patch the problem up immediately. Get yourself a nice cheap Dr. Patel to come to America to be your primary care physician. If you thought the number of asian doctors is already bad, it's going to fucking explode.
