I think it will be Newsom. It could be AOC if the Democrats past two nominations didn’t lose. What other options if it’s not newsom or AOC? Who will be VP? (that’s a much harder guess)

It doesn't rsally matter. Either JD Vance manages to keep the entire Trump coalition together or the Republicans lose to absolutely any warm body with (D) after their name in 2028.
At the current trajectory, my bet would be on Warm Body (D).
They are going to dominate in the mid terms too.
especially not a fucking foreigner
not a strand of harris's dna was american
The GOP was on the way to permanent opposition party status before Trump, thanks to the neocons tossing every ounce of political capital the right wing had ever earned into a black hole in the desert on the orders of Israel. And now that he has been absorbed into that same group, the collapse of the party will resume.
It doesn't matter how crazy the Democrat candidates get. The Republican party will never actually oppose them or their policies when they get into office. At best, we get a temporary break from the slippery slope to communism while we fight or fund a war for Israel, and then the normally scheduled programming will resume.
The GOP is a party of traitors. The "lesser evil" argument doesn't hold up any more. They are just as evil as the Democrats.
If the libs can be smart enough to not want (openly) to trans kids and pretend to be against millions of people pouring into our country then they might win.
Very important to absolutely hammer anybody who tries to be a 100 IQ genius and agitate for a third party, because there are exactly two choices: "I want to still have a country" and not that.
I doubt that's how the electorate is going to see it, at least at this point.
While he has done a lot of good, Trump has done too much stupid shit (like the over-the-top support for Israel) that I believe a lot of more casual Trump supporters probably won't vote. A few will probably even be swayed to vote (D), especially if they act more moderate (even if they're not) to garner votes.
Of course, that could change by 2028.
Or both happen because we still haven't solved the fraud problem.
The body doesn't even have to be warm.
This. Trump doesn’t realize if he sells out his base, MAGA is dead and we’ll have Democrats through 2040 if we survive that long.
"Here's how Bernie can still win."
I don't think Newsom being cucked by Weinstein is enough to make up for him being a hated white male. Big Mike is a perennial contender, but that would involve him getting off his ass so probably not. Whoever it is they're going to have to check enough diversity boxes to not offend their lunatic activist class. I personally hope it's the pimp cane guy for the lulz.
What happened with Weinstein and Newsom?
Ghislane Maxwell, after she's released from prison on appeal due to the clients she was convicted of trafficking children to officially no longer existing.
She's just as likely to be the republican nominee since she's a jew and best friends with 99% of them.
Question: what would people on a left-wing forum have said in 2013 about the 2016 GOP nominee?
As for my own stupid prediction: they pick who's next in line.
Hillary? No way. I meant that weirdo they ran last time.
Newsom is a lighting rod. He's there to draw attention and sacrifice himself.
The hilarious part is he hasn't quite worked this out yet.
Auntie Nancy isn't as powerful as she used to be.
If the Dems think they’re in danger of losing, they’d be smart to run Beshear. A democrat governor of a deep red state that Kentuckians seem to like or tolerate. He would easily win vs a fractured Republican candidacy and I think would also win vs a good candidate in a favorable political climate.
I agree but he needs to get his name and face out there yesterday. Outside of people who are into politics and Kentuckians, nobody knows him. In my limited experience in politics I’ve observed that the nominee is typically someone well known before they started running
Not always. Wasn't Obama essentially a nobody before the primary season for the 2008 election? Came out of nowhere, but had enough deep state support that he swept through the competition with his 90%+ positive media coverage.
Also, black.

With the Democrats it's who the Players want, not the people. The Super Delegates will tip the scales towards the Loyalists (think Joe Biden types).
This. They pick who they want because they know it doesn't matter. Democracy is a humiliation ritual. Kamala was the least popular candidate and still came very close to "winning" because of the media and cheating. (and Joe did "win", and then our guy most likely only got to run again because of certain promises to Israel.. but you people still think this is all legit?)
I'll throw a chip in for my local guy, Wes Moore. Clooney has already endorsed him and he's moderate enough to be palatable to normies. There's also the fact he's black
Good point. Right now more than ever the Overton window is shifting and people don’t want to be left outside. I’m convinced that some Democrats will publicly stop supporting the transitioning of children
Newsome
George Clooney or some other actor. They just need a good front man for their cabal of braindead millennial polisci interns that run the autopen.
