I am officially off the Trump Train, after having voted for him twice (2020,2024, stayed home 2016). With no results on the domestic front after being given the biggest "go get em" in American electoral history (and especially after 2 brushes with death), this is the final straw.

Because he has an ego the size of the Hindenburg, one equally fragile to boot, and the number 1 rule of dealing with Trump is once he has set his mind on something (especially if that something is based on false or missing information), he will never budge. This was the case when John Rich got close enough to tell Trump why people were booing him upon mentioning the COVID shot or Operation Warpspeed, who honest to God had no clue. Massie made himself the heel in the recent BBB negotiations, openly complaining about border security funding. I don't like this either, but it almost feels like active self-sabotage on his part.
Even if Massie hated the bill, there is no way this Senate has any intention of passing it. He could've just said "Yeah, I support this bill and support closing the border" and let the slag from Alaska be the no vote instead, but instead his (very good) anti-AIPAC stance is now associated with open borders in the minds of the people watching him. I just can't see how any sane person makes a mistake like that.

For anyone paying close enough attention, there was a significant change in Trump after January 6th. He disappeared for a few days then came back shaky and was never "himself" again. I would guess that Jan 6th is basically when Trump was confronted by the people that have dirt on him and i don't think it's just Trump but I suspect some of his kids (probably Ivanka) that they have dirt on. He's now been a MOSSAD asset ever since.

I think the intelligence agencies finally found a way of presenting daily briefs to Trump that made him act on it. Maybe it was written in gold trim and size 28 font. Tucker recently did an interview with an ex CIA agent that went to jail for revealing the torture program and he said something interesting. The daily briefs are most likely tweaked by the psychologists in the CIA to appeal to the current presidents pre dispositions.
