He may also be deeply compromised, but I certainly don't know that for sure.
But, yeah, this is a fucking shitty move. Not the first time he's pulled this shit, either. Massie challenged him, so he's no longer in the Cool Club, and it's full on war against him because by his stances he insulted the God Emperor.

Thomas was saying a big difference this time is that Congress was never briefed at all about the Iran situation, let alone consulted for consent.
He said at least in past engagements, at least Congressman were briefed and some debate was had before Executive action.
Apparently Congress was out on vacation last week and now they will be briefed on Tuesday after the fact.
Maybe they should take less vacations.
Unfortunately, the federal government doesn't care much about constitutionality anymore. Which is why, dispite not declaring a war since the 40s, we're pretty much always at war somewhere in the world.
