Looks like Trump learned from 2020. He's sending Marines to LA. (archive.is)

Great news, but we also need to see visible physical consequences for rioters as well as mass arrests, January 6th style trials with 100% conviction rates, and long federal prison sentences.

That's based and all but...why?

Surely the National Guard can handle things, right? Sending Marines or other non-NG military to act on American soil does set a dangerous precedent, not to mention just inflame things further. Again, we already have the Guard. Isn't sending them in enough?

I like that Trump sent in the Guard, but anything more seems like it's just asking for trouble. And, yeah, there is the aforementioned precedent issue.

A lot of people will like this, because the people being targeted are retards who totally deserve it...but that doesn't mean it's the right move. Satisfying, sure. Correct...ehhhhhhhh.

Eisenhower already set that precedent by sending the 101st Airborne into Arkansas to force negros into white schools at bayonet point.

Or Herbert Hoover, who sent the Army to force WWI veterans wanting to redeem their fucking bonus coupons out of Washington DC.

Whoa, I guess I misremembered that one. I really thought that was the Guard, but it was indeed the Airborne. Totally fucked up, either way.

Or Herbert Hoover, who sent the Army to force WWI veterans wanting to redeem their fucking bonus coupons out of Washington DC.

Also absolutely fucked up.

This is what the Civil Rights Act of '64 looks like.. The public image of MLKjr's "peaceful protests" is yet another lie covering up the fact that communists stripped Americans, at gunpoint, of their right to local governance and freedom of association in the 60s.

It was the 101st Airborne of "Nuts" and Band of Brothers fame too (I'm at least pretty sure anyway). It was the premier military unit to use from a symbolic standpoint.

And back in 1992, both the Marines and the Army were sent in to help the NG deal with the Rodney King riots.

Thousands of violent military age men waving foreign flags are attacking local law enforcement, public infrastructure, and citizens. This is an invasion and the President has a DUTY to fight back.

hell, he should pressure congress to declare war. they want to fuck around, they'll find out.

My point is, surely the NG can handle it. And it's not like they've all been deployed; we could just send more NG if the current number isn't enough. Or, this would be hilarious, give federal authorization to send in some state guards, for example Florida. Now that would be funny.

No. This is not a game. Full overwhelming force as soon as possible. Shut this shit down now before more citizens have their lives ruined.

The Marines have a function to oversee the other military forces. This is the reason the President's Honor Guard is made up of Marines.

Part of their function, and the reason they haven't been rolled into the regular navy, is to fight and put down insurrection within the regular armed forces.

If the National Guard decide that they would rather listen to Newsom than the PotS, then the Marines will fucking shoot them.

I guess it's because they are foreigners. This is not a domestic situation. Besides he used the NG in Washington in 2020 right and was betrayed at the time.

No, because it might be you next time. That's the whole issue with precedents.

It was us already, when they decided the entire country should be put on house arrest for the rebranded flu. It was us already, when they arrested old ladies who were let into the capitol building by guards holding open the door. It was us already, when they burned dozens of people alive in Waco to make Janet Reno look tough.

Why not retaliate?

Why not retaliate?

you really think he's sending the military in there to help you? this isn't even a "first they came for the x" situation, they're just coming for you to begin with.

They allow you to be victimized so you will embrace a police state. Classic government use of crisis to further their totalitarian goals.

Again, this would hold some weight if I hadn't already lived through the fake pandemic and the fake vaccine. The left has proven that if they have any power, that I will be made to live under wicked tyranny.

It's about time the left finds themselves under a boot.

But they won't, these people are tools for ZOG. Look at the riots in 2020. They still haven't gone after any of those people. TPTB are not afraid of the prog left, they are afraid of whites banding together. I guarantee this is going to be used by ZOG, not on their leftist prog golems, but on us.

whites banding together

Like by deporting and removing nonwhites? Which this is, kinda, you know... for?

Remember how they blanket pardonened everyone of their cronies?

This is the anarcho tyranny to get Americans to submit to the palantir surveillance machine. Ita 9/11 and the patriot act lol.

They tell police to stand down and get beat by the prog mobs. Then they unleash them on anybody standing up for whites. Just look at how the p.win normies are chomping at the bit to unleash the police state.

How regional is the NG? How close will they be originally to where they are being sent? Common tactic when dealing with any local issues is to use people from so far out there will be significantly fewer conflicts of interest. It's why riot police in the UK frequently get shipped in from the other side of the country.

Usually, the national guard members of a given unit are local to the area, but necessarily so. If you’re willing to commute, you can even be from out of state.

In the case of the troops already mobilized to defend the federal buildings in downtown LA, they’re from a San Diego unit and thus will be mostly people from San Diego.

They bring non NG military units all the time for national emergencies. During hurricane sandy the marines were deployed to NYC

Yep, it’s called defense support of civil authorities. It’s actually fairly common but it doesn’t get the attention that an announcement of a NG mobilization.

It’s too late, the contagion spread has already happened, riots are popping off in Chicago, Atlanta, NY, Philly and Dallas already. He waited to long and now will have to either invoke insurrection act and act accordingly or it’s going to keep escalating.

I very likely won't, but I'm sort of tempted to travel to Portland this weekend when they'll start burning shit down. Would be funny to watch the retards in person.

Meh, I would rather not go, but I have no choice, I have a million appointments and they are all situated in the heart of the LA insurrection, all the suggested pathways have been blocked off.

Id love to not bother going, but their last scamdemic slowed my health care by two years, and now have to deal with cancer and all the bullshit leftism that stands in its way
