The humble Goy from the Prairie got destroyed.

He ran a campaign on not limiting immigration and his main policy was axeing the Carbon tax which Carney got rid of when they swapped out Trudeau and put him in. The swap and policy change deprived Pierre of his main message

Pierre could have run on how unaffordable everything is and how unsafe the country has become.

He didn't run on obvious messages to run on

He was an incompetent candidate

He also ran on fighting Trump which did nothing to separate him from the other communist parties

To be fair, too many Canadians irrationally hate Trump

He had no other choice on this

If he was pro-Trump, the CPC would have done worse

If I had to guess, it was mainly the immigration policy. I've heard so many Canadians, even very left leaning ones develop a seething hatred for the pajeet.

And if it's not outright hatred, it's at least recognition for how fucked their housing crisis is and who's largely to blame for it.

I don't know much about it but I've been seeing clips of Pollievre for a couple of years and he always struck me as an obvious controlled opposition plant. It takes more than just being better than justin trudeu.

He's a career conservative politician. They're all controlled opposition.

Carney adjusted the Carbon Tax to 0%.

This is different than scrapping the tax. The whole system and legal status is still intact, and he or the next ''Liberal'' wil raise the taxe.

Poliver is an immigrant coddler. He thinks the clown car can be stuffed even fuller with even more immigrant clowns holding up their hands.

It's funny as despite how the mainstream will paint this, given a year I see the US being MORE united under Trump's actions and leadership especially since they're finally going after some of these judges.

I can actually see Canada breaking down more to where provinces FINALLY go independent.

Spin off Quebec as it's own country, as it is a political headache and a massive nett loss.

The USA can invade Quebec and finally put those damn French separatist in their place.

I say the u.s. liberates Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, manitoba, nunavut and the northwest territories, and makes them states, gets greenland and makes it a state, let's Ontario and Quebec be their own little country, and then we can discuss the others. I'd say nova Scotia new Brunswick and prince Edward would want to be states. Newfoundland would probably go independent again. And good on em.

The PPC lost a number of votes since the last election and actually shrunk. But at least the libtards couldn't form a coalition with the NDP

What do you think caused the PPC to lose ground? I would assume being banned from leadership debates was a big part of it

They have 174 seats with the NDP. They'll get 4 years if the NDP elects another WEF leader to head their party. They'll get a tap on the shoulder like Singh did and the new guy will be gargling Carney's balls until they're told to do otherwise.

Trump caused canadians to unify by attacking their country.

A failure of Trump tbh.

But Pierre wouldn’t have stopped the mass migration that will destroy canada anyway

It's not Trump's job to save Canadians from their own stupidity.

But it doesn't matter who's in charge of Canada. This country is already dead. All that remains for us to decide is whether we end up part of the American World Order or the Chinese one. China played a big role in rigging this election up here, but not as big a role as the Eternal Canadian Boomer.

He interfered on the morning the fucking election. It's not his job to give a shit about a WEF beachhead forming on his border, or globalist getting tagged in to choke America on Canada's corpse if it lets the globalist American Democrats retake the nation during the midterms, but here we are. It'll serve you right if Carney shuts down our midwest with export taxes on oil and potash. He gives zero fucks and can parachute out of Canada just as quickly as he parachuted in.

a failure of Trump

Trump isn't president of Canada. If they want to shoot themselves in the foot to stick it to Orange Man that's their problem.

Canadian voters have agency and are responsible for who they elect

You cannot blame Trump for the outcome of this election.

He did play a role in helping boost Carney.

I think Trump probably wanted Carney to win as Carney has previously done business with Jared Kushner

I really don't think Poilievre would have made a difference. It's basically like electing Mitt Romney, and I'm not sold on the idea that Romney would have been better for the country in the end. Better than Obama, yes, but if that means we don't get Trump, I'd take Obama all day.

Well now you can take Obama by the pussy. Grab him by the pussy!

Why is Obama still relevant?

I'm talking about whether Obama or Romney would have been better in 2012

2012, ✅ Poilievre wouldn't have made a difference, ✅

Poilievre was good as long as Trudeau was his opponent, he was Trudeau's kryptonite. The conservatives thought they had the winning ticket with him, but the liberals were more active, more mobile, they've switched the bait and left Poilievre showing his total inadequacy to the new environment. The conservatives, the party, are ossified, rusty, lazy. This is the reality. They've pulled the rug from under Poilievre's feet, he doesn't have a seat in the new Parliament. You have to admit the liberals were two moves ahead of the conservatives all the time.

Romney the traitor and Obama the windbag and dark power behind the throne are not relevant in this context.

Obama had a strange effect on a lot of people, he did have a magnetic pull, no one could deny it.

I've rejected him from the very beginning, it was a visceral reaction from the moment I saw him talking, too oily, too empty for me. I was always amazed at the effect he had on those around me. Strange, always strange.

He still has the pull to insert himself in your comparisons even though he is not relevant at all in this context, today. Canada is not USA back in time. It is not.

Every country reacts the same way to external threats. See almost every other election during a war/threat/national disaster

If some light shit talking is seen as an "external threat" by most Canadians, they deserve to be replaced by China and India.

Trump Derangement Syndrome was running hot. Why Trump put in an effort to establish Canada as a WEF beachhead against his country is anybody's guess. The Liberal's right hand guy, Singh, a WEF young global leader who went on to feed his party through a woodchipper to push the WEF middle manager ahead.

Poilievre was up against our media, Trump, CCCP interference that was revealed by the government during the campaign, and the WEF. He pulled the best numbers his side has since Mulroney swept in the 80s. In the end he's just a guy.
