The rationale by “doctors” has been that the kids will suffer irreconcilable harm from not “transitioning” this is of course despite every study saying otherwise. It's later for boys. I would say the voice used to change around 12. But puberty is a long process that only really ends once a man is at his physical prime. Early 20s.
