im tired of seeing people on the internet say they want to move to Japan
posted 1 year ago by yoisi 1 year ago by yoisi +42 / -0

Does anyone not know how to admire something from a distance? Their prescence there is going to ruin what made it great in the first place

I have no context here for this. Do you mean weebs wanting to move to Japan, neomarxist shitstains, or just anyone in general?

A small population of people moving to another country and assimilating to the culture is different than uncontrolled mass migration that the West has been suffering for two decades now.

Japanese people are still at least 90% of Japan, some small numbers of people moving there that aren't disruptive aren't going to ruin it. It may piss them off about tourists and foreigners, but them adopting a loose migration policy because "muh population decline" would do far more damage.

Also, their media is being subverted from the outside anyway. The mileage on that will eventually run out, but that's another attack vector to consider.

you know what 90% of Japan being Japanese means? it means only 80% of the younger generation is Japanese. Right now Japan is more like 97% Japanese but among the younger generations its more like 87% Japanese. America used to be 90% White and now look at America today

A small population of people moving to another country and assimilating

1- Once you open the gates, it never stays ''a small population''.

2- The Japanese have no benefit in race-mixing with foreigners for ''assimilation''.

3- Civic nationalism is a mind poison that led White countries into destruction.

Thank you for skipping over my later point and flying straight to Doomerville.

Japanese have no benefit in race-mixing with foreigners for ''assimilation'

By definition, assimilation doesn't automatically mean miscegenation. Go read a dictionary.

Civic nationalism is a mind poison that led White countries into destruction.

Civic nationalism managed fine in the US right from it's founding (even with Ben Franklin bitching about Palantian Germans) up until after WWII, when Progressives and Communists (FDR's generation) subverted it into a bogus "Magic Dirt" philosophy as a means to ruin the country. If it were the case that it was always destined to fail, the country would have fell apart at the first major influx of Paddies or Chinese.

The smooth-brain criticism of civic nationalism is similar the dismissal that neomarxists give capitalism, completely missing any qualifiers from the ideology and reaching for the current corrupted version as the embodiment. CN only works if immigration is limited and with capable populations. If you let too many of the same population (especially if they can't integrate) in at a given time, they will simply cluster together and cause problems later.

Civic nationalism didn't work for America at all . Even Hitler predicted America's downfall all the way back in the 1940's

I don't see much future for the Americans ... it's a decayed country. And they have their racial problem, and the problem of social inequalities ... my feelings against Americanism are feelings of hatred and deep repugnance ... everything about the behaviour of American society reveals that it's half Judaised, and the other half negrified. How can one expect a State like that to hold together?”

----Hitler quote

Woo, "social inequality", damn wokies. Banging that drum didn't work for Hitler long-term, and it won't work now long-term either, some properly capitalist thought will free eventually those from the shackles of concerns for "social inequality".

Yes, but the people who say they admire Japan are not the kinds of people who will successfully assimilate into Japan. They're not Koreans or Chinese. They're white people mostly.

The idea of some blond, 2m00 guy with blue eyes being called Japanese is as laughable to me as some of the people who are called French today. That is not what a Japanese person is, nor can you successfully pose as one.

Even Koreans and Chinese don't really assimulate in Japan. The split loyalties are always there especially considering the bad history between the countries.

Yeah, I'm not suggesting that any sort of immigration is good, but that Koreans and Chinese can potentially successfully assimilate in a few generations, while non-Asians cannot.

assimilation is about behavior, not looks.

I think it's about both looks and behaviour. . If you look different from the rest of society you aren't ever going to be truly accepted and because of that you'd end up growing resentful towards that society. And even if you can accept that , your children or grandchildren probably won't and will turn against the country. and whether people like to accept it or not people will always prefer to be with others that look like them and have the same ancestors as them

Even more so, a 6' white guy is going to assimilate more than any Asian because it's immediately obvious he's not Japanese and is judged constantly.

I would rather associate with a black person who is upstanding and has integrity than a white college narcissist who polices speech and demands I agree with everything he says.

Hard disagree. You cannot be Japanese when you are visibly obviously not Japanese. Cultural assimilation is possible, of course, but real assimilation?

but the people who say they admire Japan are not the kinds of people who will successfully assimilate

To be honest, if I could move to such a high-trust society, I would. I've been doing the language for a decade plus and have interacted with many of them in my life so far. The only caveats for me are the fact that their military is gimped thanks to the US MIC, the frequent earthquakes due to being on a fault line, and fully acclimating to the food culture. There's also the logistics. The xenophobia doesn't bother me as much; that's a given with homogeneous nations

nor can you successfully pose as one.

It'd be nice if I could state that about many a person, but sadly I live in America.

Muh xenophobia. You even use Marxist terms to describe a functioning nation that looks after its own people.

Could have said "racism" and you still would have bitched about it. You've clearly never dealt with the Japanese.

functioning nation that looks after its own people.

After Abe's murder and the Diet being somewhat spineless cowards on the Gay/Feminist bill last year, I doubt that's the case now, unless Trump puts in someone as Ambassador that isn't a thug.

I agree with your other points but Japanese are NOT xenophobic. This is one of those myths spread by the liberal order, both foreign subversives and some Japanese. If anything Japs are TOO in love with foreigners which is why they model themselves after the west. Talk to people of any age group and they're absolutely enamored by gaijin and all things foreign. What they don't like is Koreans and Chinese, and they usually don't want to LIVE in neighborhoods next to any foreigners - with good reason - but they like and respect us at a distance. And it's not like some countries who just like our tourists and our money. No, they really admire the outside especially America. The guys who drive around with "FUCK AMERIKKKA" trucks and shout "yankee go home" are a minority - but growing thanks to Johnny Somali and other acts of cultural enrichment. There is still less American hate compared to people in Europe or South America who really love talking about how bad America is or how much better their country is.

I suppose I use xenophobia in a short hand way as I agree with your description but as with many words nowadays, they are tainted by leftist use.

There is a reason MAGA types love that 'be the American the Japanese believe you to be' videos on YouTube, from their outside perspective they still understand some of the cultural roots of foreign nations (barring close neighbours) that have been diluted thanks to constant leftist brainwashing there.

Wow, people see another place and think the grass is greener so they idealize living there? And then are stopped by the exorbitant costs and strict rules, so it goes nowhere anyway beyond talk?

Surely this is a real problem that should piss you off, and isn't indicative of you having a severe rage addiction problem.

the age of consent was 13 nationally but pretty much all individual prefectures had it at 16-18 which cancelled out the 13.

No Japan does not need immigration. Why are people always excited for immigrants to go to a new country as long as they give up their identity and culture (assimilate)?

Freedom of association goes hand-in-hand with freedom of disassociation when it comes to liberty.

If someone is a capable human being, and they want to move here and they demonstrate that they can contribute to something greater while not be disruptive, I have no issues. If they cause shit, strip their visa/card and deport them.

If an American hates it here so much and they want to leave, they can go find a country that will accept them and so they shall deal with the trials of assimilation as any other person who immigrates here should have to (even though we currently don't). If they can't survive, then they can suck it up and come back.

Collectivists and all flavors of authoritarians want every little peon to stay put to fulfill their agenda instead of letting people take charge of their destiny.

So because youre a civnat we need immigration? Youre being disruptive of the peace of living among our own people. Maybe you should go live with a bunch of immigrants instead of inviting them into our home. This is why America is a failed state at this point. Collectives are not prisons, it's a voluntary association for survival. Or do you have a problem with states UNITING as well, is that just an authoritarian collective?

permalink parent save report block reply

– DistilledLife 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

Well, we don't need to be reactionary wignats for the US to function

it's a voluntary association for survival

Voluntary being the key there and you're missing my point. If someone doesn't want to be a part of their current collective, they shouldn't have to if another collective is willing to take them. However, the collective they're currently in shouldn't stop them from leaving, collectivists being those that try to stop people from leaving.

Or do you have a problem with states UNITING as well

The Southern states had every fucking right to leave the United States.
