Asmongold and his entire subreddit has apparently been banned by the Dragon Age subreddit, lol

Remember when just blanket banning everybody from your subreddit because they posted in a different subreddit was against the official Reddit rules?
yes, but it was never punished so...
it's one of those rules that only show up when the "wrong side" can be banned. same with brigading etc
"Rubber band laws" - rules that can be stretched to catch exactly whomever you want them to catch. Standard practice under communism and other dictatorships.
Reddit admins have been looking the other way for their pet leftist tyrants for decades all the way back to the ShitRedditSays days. They let them brigade and harass with impunity and was even proud of it.
It was punished 100% of the time when ringwingers used it.
Was it? I remember 2014 when it was done automatically for even posting once in KiA prime. Kinda figured it's been like that since... 2014.. omg I'm old.... (crumbles to dust)
I think it wasn't until 2015 that that bot did that.
But it was also openly known that it was against the rules even then, the admins just didn't care.
Also KIAPrime tried to ban everyone who posted on T_D or similar later that year, so you know.
Are there still subs that do that? I know it happened in the past, but are they still at it?
Almost every subreddit run by powerjannies openly blanket bans everybody from "problematic" subreddits now.
I suspected as much. The only subs which still seem to hold out are the KIA subreddits, r/Anarchocapitalism and r/conservativememes, and even then they have to be careful not to avoid stepping on the minefield of rules that mods could weaponize against them.
That was always only selectively enforced, in one direction.
No.
Lefties are absolutely obsessed with that guy.
There've been a few Twitch leaks from an internal chat and he's living rent free in their heads. I think it's in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_nuEJowL2A
A lot of normies watch him and he occasionally gives them ideas that take them off the reservation.
Twitch is mainly Hamas supporters?
Someone needs to check how many H1B Khans are running things over there.
Have you not played "Twitch or Terrorist?"
jeets hate muslims and kiss israels asshole thats why they are the new favorite
They also have the added bonus of being repellant to everyone, to rub it in your face when they replace you with ten of them.
This is another case of "I shouldn't like this guy, but he has the right enemies, so I like him anyway."
Nah I still don't like him. He looks like a meth head carnie.
He's the other side of the coin from Density, both "normie-incarnate" for the wider gaming sphere and not in any good way.
One of the things he's "well known" for? Having a large collection of rare mounts in WoW.
That he specifically paid other players mountains of gold for, probably funded via WoW Tokens.
Then bragged about owning as if he'd put in the same amount of work as players who farmed things themselves.
I agree, and there's no excuse for his room being that messy.
But as they say, "You shall know a man by his enemies."
But hey, remember that time he got roasted by an AI?
He literally has had teeth fall out of his mouth on stream from rot.
At least the carnies spit them out in the back.
So.. why cant we do the same for illegals??
mostly I'd say it's a budgeting issue. budgeting appropriately for the preservation of your future includes reflection on past precedent. So we're not just budgeting for the deportation itself... we also have to budget for the potential of having to fight a 2 front war WHILE spending for mass deportations... kinda like germany.
If you're playing it safe... your budget should cover all contingencies. We should save the deportation money. Feed the illegals to birds, and use those resources for the military effort when our enemies move on us.
Isn't Asmond basically just a regular V-tuber who isn't all that involved in left vs right? However he's just now noticing all the lefty issues injected in games?
He’s not a vtuber, but yeah, my understanding is that he’s pretty normie. In fact, considering how he accepts getting struggle-sessioned by people like Hasan, he’s arguably more normie-left than anything… he just doesn’t fully go along with DEI.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what a V-tuber is but thanks for answering the rest. :)
Someone correct me if i'm wrong but v-tubers in particular use a virtual avatar (hence the name, virtual-youtuber) in place of their actual face/etc, usually weeb shit.
Correct. Asmon is just a run-of-the-mill streamer who occasionally states the obvious.
Oh, I thought it was just a more up to date way to say 'vlogger', like how people use the term 'emoji' instead of 'emoticon'.
Vlogger stands for video blogger. Vtuber is as said before, virtual youtuber. Which technicly is a flawed term, because most of them are twitch users. Not youtubers.
Not really correct. Many internet video sites are called Tubes, as in TV Tubes. Youtube was named because its "you, on TV". So Vtuber is actually virtual tv broadcaster.
Words man, we made em up
I lost the scope of just how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Yeah, I know that's what 'vlogger' stands for, I just assumed 'vtuber' was a more modern iteration.
Well again. Emojis and emoticons aren't the same thing either ha ha
Theyre both smiley face icons, what difference could there be?
Emojis are rendered drawings, emoticons are using normal characters to make the appearance of facial expressions.
Wow, so you're telling me there was a sub for a 'problematic' creator that wasn't coopted by leftists who do nothing but shit on it? I'm surprised to hear that.
