I remember the "Russia will run out of munitions in a week" headlines TWO YEARS AGO.
Reminder that these dipshits are the same ones we know lie about everything, all the time. Nothing they say can be trusted, because they aren't credible.
Oh yea, one other thing: Putin wins actual elections with over 80% support, so if you think these neo-con pronouncements that Putin is gonna get taken out any time soon in any way resemble reality, you are just as deluded as the neo-cons.
Russia has not yet run out of money. But, outside the big cities, the problems of spiralling inflation, goods shortages and labour shortages, as emigration exacerbates the impact of conscription and of the diversion of manpower to wartime production, are becoming impossible to disguise, despite the central bank’s best attempts to present the world with optimistic figures.
Conscription aside, how is that any different from the entire west at the moment?
dollar is falling as "the world currency" since it's nothing but fiat money, countries are switching to ruble and yuan, so "running out of money" is pure cope
there are inflation and immigration issues, but they are very much manageable
Before people had to get dollars to buy oil. now, they can get it cheaper by buying rubles. Just have to be able to not worry about pissing off the US (government).
I really don't understand the purpose of this propaganda or where it comes from.
First part is just bragging about the silly attack into Russia, nothing at all supporting the headline. Nobody seriously claimed that Ukraine is trying to regime change Russia. Kursk was a diversionary attack.
Second part is the author bragging about how he personally suggested this plan all along. He then suggests that the rest of Russia is now open for conquest. (with what army?) He admits that the main goal is to make the war unattractive to Russians and turn them against Putin, in addition to the morale boost for Ukraine. He's also hoping the Kursk invasion will spur more support from the US and NATO. He's asking them to authorise the use of long-range missiles within Russia. I don't see how that doesn't lead to nuclear escalation, but ok. Maybe that's what he wants.
Russia will not negotiate. (except perhaps for POW exchanges) So this is all either optimistic wishful thinking, or coded messaging from a nobody journalist. What's really going on here? Is this article meant to send a message to someone to act? Or is it just more stupid propaganda from a journalist who thinks he's important?
My favorite part was: "Plenty of generals and oligarchs will see that Putin is isolating, disgracing and ruining their country in pursuit of what is little more than a personal obsession brought on by reading too much history during lockdown."
Always with the "oligarchs". Nobody talks about American oligarchs. Imagine Russian media suggesting Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos should start a coup against Washington DC.

Well, it doesn't seem to be working - that is my limited understanding. Russia seems to be deploying conscripts against the invasion, while using its professional military to exploit the deficiencies in the Nulandistani lines that this action created.
So at the very least, they must come up with new reasons for this action.
Russia will not negotiate. (except perhaps for POW exchanges)
Reportedly, the youngest POW exchange was at parity rather than the lopsided margins that Russia gave into previously. Not sure what this means.

The funny thing is that Putin cracked down on the oligarchs, who had mostly gotten their ill-gained wealth through positions in the Soviet state. They exchanged their communism for vulture capitalism from one day to the next, when it would benefit them.
Also in related stories: Putin will soon turn his war machine on Britain!
Britain isn't even worth conquering. This ain't the time of William the Conqueror.
"Just two more weeks to stop the (Russian) spread!"
How long has this nonsense been going on for now? They conjur up new falsehoods every couple months about how "It's so over for Russia." It's as if they believe saying it is going to make it real.
Walls status: Closing in

That wasn't real Democracy™. America™ owns the rights to it and therefore decides what is or isn't Democracy™.
Muh rules-based international order
"Democracy is when Democrats get elected. Easy!"
Conscription aside, how is that any different from the entire west at the moment?
Four legs good, two legs bad!
Because the left is in power, and you're not allowed to admit the left does anything wrong.

Yes Putin will fall.....in about a decade or two of old age and he probably has a successor set up by now so policy won't change.
Meanwhile, we already have bets on when the UK will have another pm, some good bets on 2025 right now.
Western media is absolutely in love with this “offensive” that stalled out in a week and accomplished zero military objectives.
Ukraine’s grand prize is a border town of 5,000 people and this is supposed to change the tide of the war?
I can’t really speak to the domestic situation but their take on the military situation is so bad I can’t help but be skeptical.
Only Scott Ritter is worth watching.
He was correct about Iraq’a WMDs and Joe Biden called him out to his face.
More kvetching that the golem meant to replace Yeltsin has, once again, turned on its master.
You can't bomb people into hating their own government.
just two more weeks, blueanon!
This guy is a 'conservative' pro-Brexit fellow.

Heat death of the universe is now also only a matter of time.
What a useless sentence.
This author writes a Russia is over article every few months.
I mean at some point he'll die of old age so they're not wrong.
