At least until the next time anonymous sources get bribed to say something that might be misconstrued as an endorsement of haley as a potential vp potentially perhaps maybe being considered in the most hypothetical of scenarios and then you read the article and sperg out about it here. Again. For like the 7th time
Then why fly off the handle about it? If an "anonymous source" says something it's less likely to actually occur than you being struck by lightning while scratching a winning lottery ticket.
How real do you believe this theater is? My impression has always been pretty real. It's like kayfabe wrestling. They don't fight to the death, but they hit each other.
That's fair. I mean, I wish I shared your enthusiasm. One thing about Trump is I've always felt the stuff he does is good for me. A lot of people get disappointed about him. Such as he does, I like, and I think he's a great speaker.
It isn't "enthusiasm" so much as just paying attention. The left used to talk about GWB being a war criminal but it was always just talk. For Trump, they are charging him with bogus crimes, illegally spying on his campaigns, slapping him with gag orders etc.
The establishment is terrified that they are losing control, because they absolutely are.
I hope he won't either, but he has a bunch of people buzzing in his ear telling him to "chase the modern audience" with her. The simps all see the Democrats and Independents they think she will bring while ignoring all of the conservatives who will just say "fuck it, burn it all down!"
If my only choices are to vote for a Democrat either way, I might as well go full accelerationist and vote for Biden. If the GOP wants my vote, then they need to earn it by actually representing me.
I'm glad Noem took herself out like that. She's not the worst, but one less establishment faux-revolutionary is still good. She was a one-hit wonder; good on lockdowns, but standard neocon on most other things. Good riddance. Shame, too, as I did initially like her. I know it goes without saying, but none of these fucks can be trusted in the slightest.
I'm not a fan of Noem, but the logic behind her demise is hilarious. Virtually every national US politician is at least complicit in the deaths of thousands of human civilians from Ukraine to Syria to Libya to Afghanistan, but you shoot one puppy and that's the end of your political career.
Eh... unless we count non-starters, she really was. Corporate shill, pro-transgender and said that you should go look for another job if you did not want the vaccine.
Don't forget Tulsi. Seems crazy, but I think he will at least heavily weight in favor of a woman, and she's got somewhat popular cross-aisle appeal. Note before anyone gets upset, I'm not even saying she'd be a good pick, just that I think she's on the list of potentials.
For your four...I hope it's not Scott or Rubio. Not dealbreakers, but I'd really rather not have them any closer to the presidency. Especially Rubio. Vance would probably be the best of those. I expect to be at least somewhat disappointed by Trump's eventual pick, though.
I really think it will be one of the three squishes: Burgum, Rubio or Scott.
Trump is looking to shore up the moderate suburban Republican vote and Burgum or Rubio both would achieve that easily. I am not a fan of them but they provide utility to help him win.
I think Tim Scott sucks and he will be suboptimal even for shoring up the suburban moderates.
Vance is fine but his Senate seat will go to RINO Matt Dolan and that is not worth it.
I think Tulsi being a Democrat till like 2021 disqualifies her.
He likely won't pick Tulsi as it hurts him a lot with the GOP establishment voters which he does need some of them to join him to win.
Tulsi ended any chance she had at being elected as a Republican when she voted for every gun control bill she saw when she was in office. And to save you from wasting your time, don't even bother posting her interviews where she is lying through her teeth about how she has "always supported the second amendment." Her voting record speaks for itself.
She is a slimy, lying politician who will say whatever she thinks will gain her power, which is why she was a Democrat to begin with. She cannot be trusted.
I think Tulsi would be a great pick because the onetruephilosoraptor types vowing not to vote Trump/Tulsi will actually vote for him anyway, and she picks up lots of moderates. And the narrative of her saying "I used to think Trump was the Orange Man Bad but I was wrong" is what the country needs.
But the main thing is she seems duty-bound so if Trump were taken out I think she'd carry on his legacy even though it's not what she would have done. I don't see any of the other floated people asking "what would Trump do?"
Either have somebody with a sense of duty or somebody 'worse' like a Rand Paul. Obviously Rand would be way better as a backup President, but we're better off with him in the Senate.
I would vote for Biden because if Republicans are going to just be Democrats, then I will vote for the worst Democrat on the ticket. Bring on the collapse if they aren't going to be an actual opposition party. Fuck Tulsi Gabbard, and fuck her johnny come lately simps like you. If you want a gun grabbing, lying sack of shit Democrat as VP so bad, then vote for the fucking Democrats.
"If Trump chooses Tulsi then he's just like the Democrats!"
Except on free speech, spying, the border, manufacturing, taxes, and a little thing called "The Constitution".
You're just a toddler throwing down and when his VP choice doesn't meet your approval, whoever it is, you're going to vote for him anyway. Just like I will when he chooses Kari Lake.
I know he pretty much explicitly stated that it wouldn't be him, but I'd still like to see Vivek Ramaswamy as his VP. I don't know enough about Vivek to trust him as the President atm, but in his campaign, he brought forth a lot of very important discussion topics and raised a lot of good points. He seems to be far more aware than Trump of many issues, such as internet censorship. He'd be able to cover a lot of Trump's blind spots, if he's acting in good faith.
Well, at least it's pretty much confirmed that he'll have a high Cabinet position. That's something, at least.
Sincerely, why would you? Even if he was hoping to reach out to other voters, he'd actually have a better shot with a Swing State governer, a Black Republican, or some kind of Tulsi Gabbard dark horse.
At least until the next time anonymous sources get bribed to say something that might be misconstrued as an endorsement of haley as a potential vp potentially perhaps maybe being considered in the most hypothetical of scenarios and then you read the article and sperg out about it here. Again. For like the 7th time
If he has publically deconfirmed her as a pick, he won't be picking her.
Fuck the anonymous sources.
People were telling you anonymous sources couldn't be trusted since the very first time....
Again did I say he was guaranteed picking her? No.
I was concerned that it MIGHT happen not that it was absolutely set in stone.
The media lies and anonymous sources are untrustworthy much of the time.
Then why fly off the handle about it? If an "anonymous source" says something it's less likely to actually occur than you being struck by lightning while scratching a winning lottery ticket.
It still might then
Nah Trump would not be deconfirming her if there was any chance of picking her.
Would be insanely stupid to backtrack.
Donaldcucks are gullible.
But anonymous sources totally said he was, and it was for real this time!
Yes anonymous sources often make up bullshit.
Media is fake and gay.
Yet you consistently ignore this reality in your incessant, perpetual search for something, anything, to use as an excuse to whine about Trump.
No shit.
Indeed. Glad to hear you have reassessed your sources! We all come to this realization at different points in life.

Now say the same for Tulsi please.
How real do you believe this theater is? My impression has always been pretty real. It's like kayfabe wrestling. They don't fight to the death, but they hit each other.
Kayfabe is the status quo. Trump isn't playing along though. They wouldn't be so desperate to beat him if he was.
That's fair. I mean, I wish I shared your enthusiasm. One thing about Trump is I've always felt the stuff he does is good for me. A lot of people get disappointed about him. Such as he does, I like, and I think he's a great speaker.

The establishment is terrified that they are losing control, because they absolutely are.
I meant confidence, I think.
I really don't think that he would pick her.
She is an actual Democrat and a lot of the GOP would be pissed if he picked her.
He is either picking a moderate like Burgum, Rubio or Scott or going full MAGA with a Vance.
Don't think a Dem V.P. is in the cards here.
I hope he won't either, but he has a bunch of people buzzing in his ear telling him to "chase the modern audience" with her. The simps all see the Democrats and Independents they think she will bring while ignoring all of the conservatives who will just say "fuck it, burn it all down!"

Tulsi is a horrible pick.
She is a middle finger to both hardcore conservatives and even the establishment GOP hates her.
It is a pick that loses him votes on net.
I have deleted my previous thread that talked about Trump considering Haley for V.P. based on anonymous sources reported by Axios.
Glad to see this story quickly refuted by Trump himself.
I am very glad to see that he is not picking Nikki Haley!
I would not be surprised if the "anonymous sources" were from the Trump camp itself, trying to muddy the waters and give Nikki a little false hope.
Most likely those anonymous sources never existed though.
When I saw that story, you sprang to mind immediately.
Thank god, now who's left as Noem seems to have tanked her own nomination to be VP.
A woman in politics shouldn't be trusted in the first place. Especially "conservative" politics.
The fact that many of the possible VP picks talked about for Trump are them is a sad state.
I'm not a fan of Noem, but the logic behind her demise is hilarious. Virtually every national US politician is at least complicit in the deaths of thousands of human civilians from Ukraine to Syria to Libya to Afghanistan, but you shoot one puppy and that's the end of your political career.
Optics is a huge element of politics but, yeah, it's absurd the lack of value for human life.
To be fair, dogs have a longer track record of being man's best friend than any human...
Eh... unless we count non-starters, she really was. Corporate shill, pro-transgender and said that you should go look for another job if you did not want the vaccine.
I think it is someone out of these four based on Trump's comments and who his campaign has said they like.
Tim Scott
Marco Rubio
Doug Burgum
J.D. Vance
Don't forget Tulsi. Seems crazy, but I think he will at least heavily weight in favor of a woman, and she's got somewhat popular cross-aisle appeal. Note before anyone gets upset, I'm not even saying she'd be a good pick, just that I think she's on the list of potentials.

He likely won't pick Tulsi as it hurts him a lot with the GOP establishment voters which he does need some of them to join him to win.
I would take any of them over Tulsi. At least they are Republicans.
Again, I'm just talking about who's potentially on the list.
I know. The fact that she is even on the list is what pisses me off, not that you said it.
You'd take Rubio and Scott over Tulsi?
Absolutely.
Tulsi ended any chance she had at being elected as a Republican when she voted for every gun control bill she saw when she was in office. And to save you from wasting your time, don't even bother posting her interviews where she is lying through her teeth about how she has "always supported the second amendment." She is a slimy, lying politician who will say whatever she thinks will gain her power, which is why she was a Democrat to begin with. She cannot be trusted.
Ah. Well, that explains why you would support Marco Rubio and that Scott fellow.
Aside from all this nonsense - don't trust politicians.
And you being a dickless European simp would explain why you support a gun grabbing cunt like Tulsi.

If he picks Tulsi, I will not vote for him. I might even vote for Biden out of spite for you tourists.
Yeah you're going to vote for Biden because you don't like a VP that has way less chance of being Pres than Kamala. Okay.
I would vote for Biden because if Republicans are going to just be Democrats, then I will vote for the worst Democrat on the ticket. Bring on the collapse if they aren't going to be an actual opposition party. Fuck Tulsi Gabbard, and fuck her johnny come lately simps like you. You're just a toddler throwing down and when his VP choice doesn't meet your approval, whoever it is, you're going to vote for him anyway. Just like I will when he chooses Kari Lake.
That's why we have secret ballots. So you can shout from the rooftops what you're absolutely NOT going to do and then do it anyway.
I'm not a spineless liberal. I say what I mean and do what I say. If he picks her, he loses my vote. Period.
Awful, awful, meh, great.
Like I said, Bi-polar
why that foreigner is even eligible is a mystery to me.
Sincerely, why would you? Even if he was hoping to reach out to other voters, he'd actually have a better shot with a Swing State governer, a Black Republican, or some kind of Tulsi Gabbard dark horse.
