But seriously there's a method to remove insane judges from the bench: impeachment. Use it.
As the latest Mayorkas impeachments demonstrate, the ability of federal and state legislatures to impeach rogue officials who abdicate their duties is almost never used. It’s one of the major “checks” that might as well not exist. I’d say the rate of impeachment of judges is easily less than 1% what it should be.
If I recall correctly, only 8 Federal judges have ever been removed.
That would, of course, require Congress actually doing something instead of bitching about where to send money and how to impeach Trump this week. Not to mention congress is full of career politician scum like AOC and Ilhan Omar.
I get what our founding fathers were trying to do, but the Judicial branch has too much power and some of the weakest checks and balances of all the branches

This cannot be our standard. You can almost never prove intent of any kind because it is self reported data from a person who has already demonstrated a capacity to commit a terrible crime. You do not trust such people to honestly report their innocence to the court. You throw them in prison as you would any “evil” person because there is no way for you to tell the difference.
Introducing these subjective excuses into the system completely undermines any semblance of justice. Judges abuse this bullshit specifically to undo the principle of blind justice. These little kings in black robes think that they should have total leeway to address whatever inequities they believe to exist in society, but that is not their purpose.
