We should think about the workers otherwise known as our public servants, the everyday superheroes who wake up ready to dedicate their careers and their lives to serving us. These are the Americans we employ. Even though their work is often invisible, it makes our lives better.

I can see public servants every day across the country. They are always the worst at their jobs, who seem to exist to offer the worst service possible if they even give you any at all. Their existence radiates hatred for you and the fact that you ever get anything from them, despite their extremely cushy careers and benefits that are paid for entirely by you.
And that's the public facing of the "State". The ones who should theoretically have to put on a face that fakes giving a shit. Take away the barest minimum of in person reactions and why should anyone believe they give a shit about a single living person beyond themselves?
