See, you think that I'm jumping to conclusions, and you might be right, but now you are doing it yourself - by assuming that I am 'simping' for any mentality, rather than informing you that by allowing rejection to hurt you this much, you are doing a number on yourself.
There is no law of nature that rejection should hurt you as much that it does, if it does. And when it doesn't, your life will improve.

I think you're exaggerating just a little bit. And this may not help either.
That too, but also because I think she said not much wrong. Note that I'm not 'taking her side' in saying that men who are rejected should reply to the woman, I'm indifferent to that. People in general like to freak out about nothing, and you are no different.
I will say that I did not read the Reddit thread, perhaps they made better arguments for their criticisms of the woman than the people here.

I had a friend freshman year of college who couldn't look a girl in the face, not even fat or ugly ones, and he could only barely speak to them. I assumed he was abused at home or something because he wasn't ugly or fat but he was constantly talking about how fucked over "nice guys" are etc etc.
Anyway one time he said something along the lines of, "fuck that bitch, I wanted to smash her face and break her fucking nose". I didn't skip a beat, I said, "you couldn't do that, you'd have to look her in the face first." He laughed, like, violently and for way too long, it was so fucking weird. He was such a weird dude, very Holden Caulfield-esque.
At least he had a good attitude about that burn.
He was super self-deprecating. He was just this "nice guy" in his own mind but in reality he clearly had some mental issues he desperately needed to work through. Wasn't even particularly a nice person. 100% who I think of when I hear or read "nice guy"
