Reactionary right: purges, whether violent or none violent of ALL institutions, in terms of society that one I can't answer as the technology available today makes anything before the 90s impossible to reach again. It'll be a weird amalgamation of forced morality (which after the left trying to maim kids, haven't got a leg to stand on there) and a sort of revenge mindset against previous Establishment.

They're like a rich kid that their parents finally cut off, they'll never learn responsibility. Those that could have already left and attempting to rehabilitate themselves out of sight.
Playing double devil’s advocate: are they putting the species at risk by forcing everyone into these massive dense urban shitholes (aka cities)? When these disgusting petri dishes inevitably create some legitimate super virus, globalism will immediately chauffeur it around the world. These progressive values of interconnectedness and city living are exponentially increasing our vulnerability to disease.
High popoulation concentrations + population mobility were always huge factors in the development of super bugs of all kinds.
Sexual degeneracy being another important factor. And even gay men should say it : that problem is off the chart among a large subset of urban gay men.
Alot of people were manipulated unto believing "AIDS dosen't discriminate" ( HIV seropositivity reaches 50% among some city's faggots ), but when the same thing happened with Monkeypox, but even more restricted to gays, many figured : yes, it's their degenerate hyper-promiscuity causing this.
Anecdotal but as the resident swamp dweller I can convey that I recently got hit with what felt like the Chinese bio-weapon. It knocked me on my ass for a couple weeks, but when I finally broke down and went to the doctor they just prescribed flonase and nyquil and that did the trick. Cleared up the symptoms long enough for me to actually get a good night's sleep at which point my was able to begin recovery.
Meh. "Illness" fear porn isn't new, and certainly wasn't discovered with covid. You can easily find plenty of fearmongering articles written every winter for decades about how a surge of "respiratory illness" was going to lead to the hospitals being "overwhelmed". What happened in 2020 is so how most people actually started believing that shit. Unfortunately for those pushing these stories, the majority of people don't believe this shit anymore, after having fallen for the con once already, and I suspect won't for some time.

Around where I lived a few months ago they reported an uptick in Covid cases. When you looked deeper there were no hospitalizations.
