They'll ignore criticism unless it actually starts affecting sales.
If it does, they'll rename the company and the people who contract with them will just stop mentioning the relationship. At most, they'll be down at the bottom of the game credits somewhere for "contractual services."
Then it'll take more internet autists to dig them up again and only be able to warn people that they're involved after the game is already out.

More MJ missions where she single handedly is game to take down the enemies that Peter has to beat up and then side missions like following around a deaf girl as she does street tagging and helping some college dude surprise his boyfriend.

Yep and that's not counting the times Peter lumps praise on Miles telling him how much better he is as Spider-Man and shit like that. Also the pacing and storytelling with Venom is dogshit, because it's all removed from Peter.
I’ve seen a few reviewers playing through that pathetic ending. Peter hanging it up and letting Miles be Spider-Man from now on because he’s so much better at it.
Also caught that fight between Peter and symbiote MJ, where she’s beating the shit out of him while he screams about how sorry he is for always putting his own needs ahead of hers, and she’s so strong and brave, and he’s such a horrible toxic male, and her dreams matter more than his dreams etc

Sales will probably be good though, because the core demographic of like 12-25 is all about whatever is being hyped. More normies will hate on it for being Playstation than for being poorly written woke trash.
At least Ultimate Spiderman on PS2 had the excuse of being the first to do it when faced with this problem. I'd imagine it was also more fun back then too, as none of them would have the balls to have Venom's first mission to be eating a literal child.

they are just minor subcontractors, that studios outsource minor writing to. It is not the case, that the devs in AAA studios are actually gigabased and only foiled by dangerhaired pedos in this one company
They are hired specifically because they are woke. If anything is a way for game producers to reduce cost on woke stuff. Having a bunch of employees just go "put a black woman, make her gay and lame" is a drain to their bottom line.
One of their writing-adjacent services is 'sensitivity reading' which is literally 'plz check my work to make sure it's woke enough'.
