They can, but he'd have to take time off of work at the FBI.

As long as it wasn't a CIA hitman that directly shot him that got sent out to die by his former handlers, they would have all killed each other eventually.

I literally do not understand anyone's fascination with Tupac? Seriously, who cares so much about a guy who died back in the 1990s for being a typical jogger? I don't get it?

  1. fame was a scarcer quantity in the 90s. Much more concentrated.

  2. Tupac's music is actually catchy. Even if you don't agree, it's obviously more complex than today's rap. Tupac himself was more charismatic than mumble rappers.

  3. social media has taken away a lot of the mystique from jogger antics, but back then when few people had firsthand experience with their culture, street beefs took on a kind of urban Wild West romanticism.

  4. rappers killing each other was a fresher trend at the time.

  5. the guys that killed Tupac and Biggie were not retarded enough to get caught immediately and some people think P. Diddy was involved.

There's another issue to this that u/throwawayaccount2037 also probably doesn't know. Tupac was the son of a revolutionary Black Nationalist from the 1970's. The was a popular figure at the time, and also was prosecuted by the FBI along with several other Black Panther members in regards to staging multiple terrorist attacks against police stations.

Unlike Asasta Shakur (her close friend), this appears to have been a set-up by the FBI.

One thing you should note is that almost all of the violent, Leftist, Communist, Marxist, or Black National Socialist revolutionaries from the time period are almost all in positions of significant political power.

Tupac's death was a death of one of their own at a specific moment when Black Revolutionary racial violence and criminality were seen as both normal and moral.

One of the reasons that American blacks are associated with violence is because these Leftist movements of the time were all explicitly criminal. They assassinated judges, assassinated witnesses, killed police officers, created violent secessionist movements inside of cities (like the infamous MOVE bombing), robbed banks as a form of income, started prison riots, engaged in bombing campaigns and hostage takings. Basically, all the worst shit of the "Days Of Rage" Campaign. Crime is moral against a Capitalist system. That is why they talk about "white accomplices". Since these terrorists have seized power, they have emphasized pro-crime policies and police abolition to support crime against Capitalism.

Tupac was killed at a sensitive moment have the revolutionary racial violence of the LA Riots, and during a time period where black gangs were seizing institutional power in entertainment.

Somebody probably betrayed Tupac to kill him as he was becoming successful, and these are not the type of people who forget their enemies names. They've now got the FBI files on themselves, and are utilizing the old system to go against their enemies the way that they were pursued.

And to be clear, the Leftists aren't wrong that the FBI went after them illegally (sometimes). And you'll notice the FBI did the same shit to them, that they do to the right currently. The FBI did this to populist rightists back in the day too, but they don't know or care about that. As far as they are concerned, they are in power, and they are going to replicate the force used against them. "The masters tools in the hands of the oppressor".

Thanks, I may look into this some more.

Interesting.

Never listened to any of Tupac's music because I'm not into rap, but I've seen his name popping up consistently since his death as if it were actually important.

I keep coming back to the first point. You had to have something special or have special networking to be a household name before social media. People like the cash me outside girl took their 15 minutes and went home without making millions of dollars.

William Hung is a good example of a pre-IG meme. Dude became famous for bombing an American Idol audition, but his only opportunity to capitalize was music and unsurprisingly no one can regularly listen to terrible music even as a joke. So he ended up becoming a CSI analyst with the LAPD. If he broke out today then he'd be making tons of money doing covers on youtube and going on podcasts.

Yeah what I meant is that if she had her 15 minutes in the 1990s she would be worth jack, but it happened in the 2010s.

Our government is so corrupt they started arresting people for the murder of Tupac as a distraction. Even aliens didn't phase us, so they had to bring the big guns.

I'm sure this is just amazing police work (or the most basic of basic) finally catching a real criminal and totally not a distraction to get people talking about something irrelevant instead of all the really bad politics going on.

As I said elsewhere, this is either a desperate attempt to reach out to American blacks; or it is the act of many of the Black National Socialist terrorists from the 1970's who have gotten into institutional power, using that power to go after the killer of one of their own. Tupac might not have been a terrorist, but he was a big money maker and cultural icon for the terrorists in his friends and family.
