Bingo! Crazy how the media all of a sudden loves him and Bush. Biggest example of this was how McCain was the media’s golden boy when he attacked Bush but once he ran against Obama he was an evil racist
This realization really hit home for me in McCain's funeral, when all of the press was framing George W. Bush as the sweet old man who snuck candy to Mike Obama.
I wasn't up to speed with the political rehabilitation of Bush, and it felt crazy seeing leftists fawn over him as the sweet old moderate republican.
wasn't up to speed with the political rehabilitation of Bush
There wasn't one, that's what made it so much more pathetic and obvious.
After he left office he basically went quiet, the only major news about him was that he was doing paintings of vets or something, until he reappeared years later as "kindly old grandpa" with no development in the middle.
Yep. Bush was the first president I was old enough to vote for. I remember hearing how evil he was in the media. Media loves dead republicans or ones who criticize the current president. When his dad died the same media that attacked him endlessly fawned all over him
equally queue up all the people who were sucking his dick in the 2000s just because he was a Republican.
every year I learn more and more that Pixy was right in that this twisted game needs to be reset. the only place where we differ is I think it's doable without destroying the world or murdering millions of people.
No matter how much I despise Biden, he doesn't come close to number 1, Woodrow Wilson
Trump? He ain't even in the top 20 presidents a risk to America. Dick's salty that his 'legacy' plan is in flames because Trump came in and dick slapped Liz into irrelevancy.
A president so awful it's actually hard to quantify which of his accomplishments had the worst impact on this country.
The Federal Reserve Act, which has been a disaster for the economy overall
The Revenue Act of 1913, which has devastated the middle class in the long term
The 19th Amendment, which basically guaranteed the survival of the Democratic party, was interestingly, initially opposed by him, but he buckled under pressure from his supporters, and he passed it.
WWI, was a European conflict that he dragged us into because his campaign backers (Rockefeller, Carnegie, JP Morgan) wanted to protect their interests in Europe, and as a result we got dragged into a war we should never have been involved in.
The League of Nations and the Treaty of Versailles, was a giant mess that only served to punish Germany for losing a war that it only went into to assist its allies.
Any one of these should have earned him long lasting infamy. However, since our education system is designed to churn out good little government drones, Wilson is instead praised as a progressive, despite his racism and his status as a puppet for globalists.

I actually have heard good arguments that America should've gotten involved A LOT EARLIER when Russia was still in the war. It would've led to the defeat of Germany faster, no rise of the Soviets, no Nazis, no league of nations and overall a lot calmer of a century.
They had a nice, comfy gig going, consistent second place to the DNC and never getting in the way of their agenda, and Trump had to turn up and fucking ruin all of it by actually attempting to act for the vast masses most of the RNC seems to despise just as much - if not as openly - as the DNC does.
I've said this before, but it was a horrible move by DeSantis to run this election. He had a great thing going as governor, and he was a rising star for the Republicans. But he knew that Trump would run again, and he chose to enter a mudfight with him, alienating a huge portion of the Right who approved of the President's policies, before the Wu Flu was released. He should have just supported Trump again this time, defended him against attacks, and then run for President 4 years later, with the full support of Trump's entire former base. There would have been no infighting. He's not like Biden, who's becoming increasingly senile every single day. DeSantis is still young, and had plenty of time.
It was just a bad move, and now everyone has seen how little charisma he has on the debate stage, when faced with someone like Vivek. DeSantis' presidential aspirations are now basically dead in the water, perhaps for over a decade or forever.

He could've got a win out of his run anyway by running like Vivek or Larry Elder and supporting Trump while bringing a couple of neglected issues to light and building his brand. Instead, he and his wife thought he could actually take the primary from Trump... one of the biggest miscalculations in politics.
I actually like Trump as a person, and he cultivates that connection with his base. I don't dislike DeSantis, but I don't know him.
I like things DeSantis has done as governor of Florida, but that doesn't mean I want him to be President. He's somewhere between a Rino and not, but he's no Trump.
It's because "our democracy" was already getting shit on by the people he's trying to pander to. The important lesson is that the government and by extension the country belongs to them. It's "our democracy" or "our republic", but that just means them and never those filthy peasants they so loathe having to tolerate.
So… the guy who was in charge when 9/11 occurred (and some say orchestrator of) got us into the disastrous Iraq war, costing us untold billions and blood, the guy who actually shot someone while hunting, the guy who was in charge when the US Economy collapsed in 2008…
Says Trump is a threat to the US?!
And, queue up all the people who spent a decade+ in the early 2000s screaming that Cheney was a monster and a mass murderer suddenly applauding him.
Bingo! Crazy how the media all of a sudden loves him and Bush. Biggest example of this was how McCain was the media’s golden boy when he attacked Bush but once he ran against Obama he was an evil racist
Then back to golden boy when he defended the very programs he campaigned against as a presidential candidate.
True

This is a long video take on it but very interesting take on it.

If that ain't the pot calling the kettle black.
Fucking sociopathic warmongering lump of excrement.
Just look at this creature's face. Why is he coming out of hibernation/irrelevance?
I thought he was dead.
Man, all these politicians need to fucking drop dead already. They were old when I was a kid and they just never go away.
Cheney and his boys are why we want an outsider. I'm tired of these uniparty thieves.
these zionist neocon boomers are so tiresome
"our" republic, dick?

I don’t recall Trump shooting a man in the face during a hunting trip.
And making that man publicly apologize for getting in the way of Cheneys random shots.
Dude can sneak into Hong Kong and steal away a top criminal accountant via a Korean L-100 Hercules and a bungee cord.
AND he doesn't believe in using guns!
That's not right.
So… the guy who was in charge when 9/11 occurred (and some say orchestrator of) got us into the disastrous Iraq war, costing us untold billions and blood, the guy who actually shot someone while hunting, the guy who was in charge when the US Economy collapsed in 2008… Says Trump is a threat to the US?!
Sure. This is not a repost from 1999 or whatever.
He's the quintessential neocon.
