Didn't the Democrats try to ban a lot of books in California and also censor Dr. Seuss. That was fine but the Conservatives censoring graphical sex books in school libraries the monsters?

They can't be trusted in ANY position where they have power over a vulnerable person, not just kids but the elderly in care homes, we can look at the UK police on how the left acts with that authority, you can't trust them with any power at this point.
The ALA has advised that Dr. Suess was a horrible terrible person. Also, Melania Trump donated a bunch of children's books one time and the staff took selfies of them throwing the books out.
I don't remember that. I remember a campaign by the first lady to federally regulate video games and effectively ban mods nationwide because of grand theft auto though.
It's not even banning, is removing them from school curriculums, something the left will tell you is fine when they do it. Ie. "decolonising" education
When conservatives ban things it's always "I don't want MY kid to read this book/watch this movie/listen to this music."
When progressives do it it's "I don't want YOUR kid to read this comic. HIS kid to watch this movie. THEIR kids to listen to this music."
I honestly have no problem with a small community or even a town banding together to make a choice that affects their own daily lives. I don't want social engineer busybodies telling complete strangers, living far away from them, how to live their own lives. It's the same with all the male feminists, protesting against sexualized female characters in video games on behalf of women, even as they jerk off to those same characters. I completely reject the views of someone protesting an issue that doesn't impact them personally in any way.
