Isnt it strange how people like Jessica Stein and Rahm Israel Emanuel were 100% certain the lgbt bill would pass even before the voting even happened. ? Further proof that Jap politicians had been bribed or blackmailed in to not voting against the lgbt bill (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

Comment Reported for: Rule 16 - Identity Attacks

Comment Approved: Nothing is an identity attack here. Saying someone looks jewish, without being, I don't know, literally covered in shit or something, doesn't really count. You'd actually have to say something about jews.

Ever since the end of ww2, Japan has been an American colony. Though imagine being a nip politician and your legacy is "i doomed my people's future by pretending i had a stomach ache to avoid voting on a crucial moment because i let myself be bribed or blackmailed"

Though this could also be what happens when a country is completely in debt to the bankers.

Post Imperial Japan has always been a disgrace, I can't understand that people are surprised that this happened, it was inevitable. The moment Hideki was proclaimed a war criminal and the rest of the japs were guilt tripped into thinking they're the spawn of Satan, is when Japan started going downhill.

It used to control numerous islands around it, it used to be a fearsome nation, now it's small shit island full of social retards who cope with shitty cartoons, and now it's also apparently setup to be a breeding grounds for faggots, congratulations Japan, welcome to the ''great'' western world.

It's always a case of them being better than other first world alternatives. For example their post-war self-flagellation was nowhere near as bad as Germany, despite being constantly attacked over it. They're still getting flack for "anti-Korean" material in textbooks.

I do remember hearing an old Japanese guy in the 90s complaining about how weak and pathetic the modern generation is, how they follow blindly rules without even knowing why. I had a feeling he was right and it was only going to get worse.

Whilst their self flagellation was not as bad as Germany's their demonization of their own warrior culture is really bad. Japan was a military country for most of its history yet now the military is so demonized.

Imperial Japan bad a mid-level officer problem. The best way to get a promotion was to win a big battle, but those above them didn't want to invade more islands or nations. So the officers invaded anyway, and the entire country had to act like it worked, even though they didn't have the resources to keep it up.

Those same officers tried to take over japan before the emperor could declare defeat. The general of the army committed suicide during this time. His suicide not simply said, "I am sorry for the darkness"

Japan wanted to be big, but the officers were to ambitious, which led to problems the entire time it was an empire. I suspect Japan is trying to build another military incase the US leaves suddenly. They are buying time until they can defend themselves properly. The problem is, the insanity of the war machine in Japan actually scares Japanese today. They may not be as bad as Germany, but they don't want to become the darkness again.

Who says the Japanese empire was insane? the same people who control the world today? if you look up old newspapers, it says that Imperial Japan was complaining about America encircling them and putting bases in China and South east asia to bomb Japan. https://postimg.cc/Ffw79yhT Maybe thats why they did what they did?

There's a wonderful movie called Japan's Longest Day about the day the Empire declared the war over. It has the suicide I just mentioned. It is based on everything that happened during that day, down to that speeches given. It was made by, for, and about Japanese culture.

Also, historians have gone through the records and found that the Japanese did not have the resources to keep the empire working. The constant expansion was expensive, and the ability to keep it even harder. There's a picture of Japanese next to the Japanese military in China. At first it looks like a sign of power, but then you see the faces and realize the only thing stopping the absolute destruction of the Japanese colony is the military.

Basically they made a lot of bravado, but didn't have the ability to keep the empire for long.

The reason they didn't have resources is because America sanctioned them, and what you call "suicide" is them trying to keep their own sovereignty and perhaps the expansionism was partly due to feeling encircled by certain globalists tribal people who as the article said "had been planting bases around the surrounding countries to bomb Japan. "

I'm fairly certain the stomach problem was a protest.

You protest a bill by not showing up to vote against it and pretending you had a stomach ache?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 5 ▼
– AlfredicEnglishRules 5 points 3 years ago +5 / -0

They couldn't vote against it without having backdoor Yakuza show up at your house with CIA weapons, so not voting is all you can do. The only way to not vote is to not be there because of illness.

▲ 15 ▼
– Telia [S] 15 points 3 years ago +15 / -0

Not voting is the same as letting the other side win, The original point still stands which is that they cited stomach aches to not vote against it because they were being bribed or blackmailed.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 10 ▼
– AlfredicEnglishRules 10 points 3 years ago +10 / -0

There's also a rule that enough people have to be there for a vote to happen, if enough people had stomach aches, the law is null.

Whatever the reason, it was passed as if they had a gun to their heads.

How was it a protest? The people who had stomach aches were the ones against the bill and yet they didn't show up to vote against it because they claimed "they had stomach aches" how is that a protest?

These are acts of war. At lightest, they should be booted from the country if they're in it, and banned from entering. At harshest, they could something something Soleimani.

That's a dumb assumption. The fact that they were confident in it's passage suggests nothing but the confidence in it's passage. Whatever meddling happened afterwards is just normal politics.
