Isnt it strange how people like Jessica Stein and Rahm Israel Emanuel were 100% certain the lgbt bill would pass even before the voting even happened. ? Further proof that Jap politicians had been bribed or blackmailed in to not voting against the lgbt bill (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

I'm fairly certain the stomach problem was a protest.

You protest a bill by not showing up to vote against it and pretending you had a stomach ache?

They couldn't vote against it without having backdoor Yakuza show up at your house with CIA weapons, so not voting is all you can do. The only way to not vote is to not be there because of illness.

Not voting is the same as letting the other side win, The original point still stands which is that they cited stomach aches to not vote against it because they were being bribed or blackmailed.

There's also a rule that enough people have to be there for a vote to happen, if enough people had stomach aches, the law is null.

Whatever the reason, it was passed as if they had a gun to their heads.

How was it a protest? The people who had stomach aches were the ones against the bill and yet they didn't show up to vote against it because they claimed "they had stomach aches" how is that a protest?

Too bad the stomach problem didn’t involve a short blade.
