The DW comment section is as censored as any left-wing dump. Matt Walsh is a hypocritical dildo since his home disallows any criticism of troons that isn't rhetorically sanitized. They are a gaggle of self-important assholes evidently run by their lawyers. I am done with them. I should have expected something like this from the home of Ben Shapiro and Candice Owens. Live and learn.

Damn, I didn't know every boy who wasn't a flaming faggot from birth was disturbing. Better cancel every game of cops/robbers, cowboys/indians, and all other forms of outside play boys naturally do.
If you look at the soy creature Matt Walsh was in 2015 before he adopted this "macho" persona after Trump was elected, this take from him isn't surprising.
He was on the "principled, compassionate conservative" grift before this one. Hated Trump* for being a "misogynist" and for attacking "journalists".
I do believe that some things like his opposition to abortion are genuine, because he's been consistent on that.
* You can hate Trump all you want; people seem to think I don't like Walsh just because he didn't like Trump in 2016. I don't like Walsh because he enumerated specific personality traits as reasons for not liking Trump, then adopted those exact same personality traits once Trump won. And then acts as though he is some sort of "thought leader" instead of a hanger-on.
Damn, he did that? This kind of gaslighting coming from all directions could turn anyone into TheImpossible1.
For reference, this is the persona Matt Walsh had adopted when he said these things.

Source. And when he was criticized for the over the top nature of this particular article by Trump supporters, here he nonchalantly dismisses a reader offering this criticism, thinking that his position was the more popular one.

This is all early 2016, and it seems obvious to me what happened: he thought Trump was going to lose, so he bet big on insulting Trump being the winning strategy. Then Trump won, and he realized maybe his wasn't as popular a viewpoint as he'd thought; and to stay relevant he had to adopt his present "Rough and Tumble Mountain Man" persona.
Guy's like in his mid 30s: he's not exactly some old sage. Hell I'm older than him, and I'm no old sage myself.
It's a shame because I like how he's been fighting the LGBTP WEF death cult.
Unfortunately, he can't seem to tell the difference between fantasy and reality, much like the people he claims to be against.
Yeah, he's said stupid shit in the past that I excused because it wasn't relevant to his fight against the trannies but this isn't any better than danger hairs trying to control video game content.
Heck, even a staunch conservative like Steve Turley said Matt was straight out wrong on his statements on anime and video games.
So... He's a republican... who is afraid of men who go to the gun range? Or who play football? Both those are the exact same description, approximations of war and killing, violence, in the name of recreation and fun.
Fuck matt walsh but this idea that violence in the name of recreation and fun is good is BS. All it does is neuter men.
It should be used in the name of justice, and I'm not talking about the politician's foot soldiers - State/Federal law enforcement. They have castrated justice in favor of legality. I'm talking Gary Plauche.
If you aren't capable of doing this, but lose your marbles for pretend violence that see's clowns and ring masters earn in the millions, you are an absolute waste of space, and shouldn't tilt at windmills built by anti video game radio jockeys.
Oh yay. Another Jack Thompson.
Preaching to the choir here. We know; every time they seem to do something based, they do something that basically cancels it all out or worse.
They are normie-cons that hold socially acceptable positions still inside of overton. However I've been hearing a lot more talk about "anti-White" from them so it seems like the boundaries are shifting.
Their popularity and mainstream platform presence gathers the kind of people we want to target to see if we can move them further right.
Figure out how to get the point across without sperging. And how to look sympathetic to normies who are just starting to doubt the narrative when you get inevitably attacked by the gatekeepers.
If you limit your reach to only sites where you can say nigger faggot tranny kike without getting banned then you aren't going to sway anyone who isn't already on your side.
Crap, I think I just convinced myself to go back on reddit....
As an example on Twitter I learned that I can't respond to people who say "you are homophobic" by replying "You are right, I'm scared of the diseases they carry". It is true but against the rules. So instead I'm pushing back on "civil rights", "women's rights", gender as a concept, etc. Fight like flowing water, if you are stopped at one point move forward on a different front, but keep moving forward.
I'm aware of this and tone down my rhetoric considerably on other forums, using no profanity but the mildest and then not directed but just as an expression of exasperation.
They will not allow "dead-naming" and appear to censor the claim of truth that Walsh and Knowles make continually--that one cannot change sex.
This is good advice for convincing fence sitters. He's still correct to call out LARPers who pretend to be on our side then hire tranny jannies from Faggit to run their forums.
Reddit is far gone. It's an extremist hellhole. You can't "be water" there, they'll sniff you out in an instant and ban you for no reason, just for not liking who you are.
Twitter has rules and centralized moderation by people who are at least internally accountable and get a paycheck, so they couldn't just get rid of people just for questioning the narrative. They had to at least pretend to have a law. But on reddit the mods are all powerful. I've been banned for the most milquetoast of reasons; for jokes, for observations, for asking questions.
It really ramped up during the riots. Anywhere they sensed that someone might be even the slightest bit anti-narrative they banned. Perm bans for dissidents, temp bans to scare the normies into compliance, and shadow removal of posts to make normies think that everyone believes the same things.
The result is that only NPCs are left, riling each other up to new heights of banality. The groupthink is actually remarkable. The syntax they use very predictable. And every thread they return to their hate objects de jour. Because hate is the strongest control mechanism, and ideological groups turn to hate to keep each other in line.
Reddit has become the greatest propaganda tool ever known, and it's all because of the mod system where the always online fanatics of SRS could, over years, spread and take control over a forum they deeply hated, and then use that hatred to shred it apart and instill fear and totalitarian control.
Reddit, which used to be centrist, is what happens when you drive away all opposition, all dissent, all intellectual challenge, and you instill people with a sense of fear for disagreement. Any large sub is now just a festering rotting place of hate, vitriol, sarcasm, sadism, and depression.
Topic -> hate object(s) to blame for Topic OR hate object(s) to blame for vaguely related Topic -> expressions of hate for the hate objects -> despair and depression because the hate objects exist -> nothing good can ever happen as long as hate objects exist -> hate objects are to blame for all the evils -> capitalism is bad and hate objects only exist because of capitalism.
Repeat ad nauseum.
The irony is that they look at this place like that. But the reality is that this place is quite relaxing. There's no feeling of groupthink, but rather of shared interests. Low censorship counteracts ideological thinking. Keeping the extremists around moderates everyone else. It's amazing that the people who frequent places where hatred is the most dominant emotion, think of places like kia as hateful, while really the most frequent emotions here are probably melancholy and nostalgia.
Everyone is here for different reasons. It's a weird mishmash of outcasts. We all disagree, we have dissidents, lunatics, weirdos, zealots, you argue with one guy one day and upvote him the next because even people you disagree with have good insights.
And that's what reddit is missing; the insights. Because that's what you trade away when you become a hivemind. Reddit is now just infinitely boring and predictable, hateful and sadistic, and sometimes useful if you're researching the best temp to cook your steak or which bike to buy.
The Daily Wire should have crashed and burned when Crowder leaked their contract (if not well before then). They got defenders saying Crowder shouldn't have leaked the contract and it was just an opening offer and yadda yadda yadda, but that entire debate is all a sideshow distracting from the real problem, which is that The Daily Wire claims to be an anti-(excessive) censorship, conservative, non-mainstream organization, and then it makes a contract where its employees are greatly punished for running afoul of the most mainstream of leftist standards. There’s “unfair opening offer” and then there’s “structured in such a way as to fundamentally undercut the entire alleged premise of the company.”
All questions of “fairness,” “negotiation,” and “friendship” aside, that contract deserved to be leaked simply because it exposes a massive open question about The Daily Wire’s commitment to its claimed values. Hypothetically, if I join “the organization to oppose cannibalism” and someone leaks that they stop their employees from saying cannibalism is bad, I don’t give a shit about whether the leaker was betraying trust or not and I don’t care if it turns out you can get permission to say cannibalism is bad if you ask nicely—I want to know why the organization to oppose cannibalism ever took that position on any level.
Yeah thanks for explaining it so thoroughly for the peanut gallery. It's astounding how many people, even on this board, missed the point of that whole fiasco. Back when that happened this place had a very sizable contingent (approaching 1/3?) backing DW. Since then I've noticed a very steep upturn in negative sentiment toward them here which is encouraging.
Just a few months ago I was catching downvotes for shitting on Walsh and now I see him get shit on here all the time it's great.
He seems to be crossing DEEP into enemy territory lately with his 90's BS about video games and anime, which probably every single member of this board has some, if not dedicated, interest in. To hear that sort of thing from someone that's supposed to be 'on my side' is the kind of insanity that Lefties are used to dancing with, not me. I was reading through his spat with George Alexopoulous on twitter, and I couldn't believe he was the same guy that did "What is a Woman?"
He's talking like the guy on anonymous forums whose desperate for others to believe that he has a nice car, big house, and hot gf who bangs him every day and night. It's not a normal person's perspective, and it reeks of something else going on in the background he wants to push.
I dont usually like how frequently the word "grifter" gets thrown around lately; I feel like it's rapidly becoming another buzzword to hurl at people we don't like. But Walsh really strikes me as a grifter in the truest sense; someone crafting a fake persona to cultivate a fanbase for personal monetary gain.
I agree, and that's damn well-put.
With Jews you lose.
I assume all pundits and "journalists" are grifters from the get to.
Maybe down the line, I'll be proven wrong with some individuals, but it's just stupid to presume good faith from anyone making money from the culture wars.
Fuck professional mouth runners.
Indeed, make sure to cancel any subscription you have have accidentally acquired.
I regret having paid them four bucks for a year.
Good you figured it out. I'm still surrounded by people who claim the DW and all its speakers as "the most objective and therefore most intelligent information"
I'm slow sometimes. And I assume good intentions until proven wrong.
Based post
I know lawyers is practically a synonym for Jews, but you really should use the proper terminology.
((Shapiro))
uh yeah
Why would anyone go into their comments instead of using twitter to reply to their posts instead?
You can hate on DW all you want, but they're still better than anything on the Left.
I've been permanently banned from Twatter.
was this after Elon took over or before?
After. I can't even remember why I was tossed--probably an anti-tranny comment.
Remember when Jordan Peterson built an entire public image fighting for free speech.
And how now he argues that there shouldn't be anonymous speech online.
Wonder what changed...
