And the only cop who engages in "dead-naming" and "misgendering" turns out to be the villain of the episode and the leader of a corrupt band of Gotham cops working for the overall villains of the series?
And of course, he gets beheaded by the end of the episode.
my only problem with his breakdowns is that the shows are so terrible and full of inconsistencies he had to pause almost every other line of dialog and tell us what is wrong, i ended up not even knowing what the basic plot of the episode was about

Comedians were making jokes about burglars in alarm company ads always being white as long as I can remember.
The only time a black guy has been allowed to be an unrepentant villain in any fiction for at least the past thirty years is when the main character is also black. Thanks to 9/11 we had a few years there when Arabs were allowed to be evil, but even then they always had a token peaceful Muslim who constantly delivered monologues about how Islam is a religion of peace and terrorists aren't true Scotsmen Muslims. When's the last time a white culture got that kind of respect from Hollywood? Oh, literally never? How curious.

Its like raceswapping a character but ending up with Morgan Freeman or Wesley Snipes, the problem with current raceswapping is that it's a cover to replace great EXPENSIVE actors with inexpensive inexperienced actors and use race as a cover for criticism.
