Hook and his entire crew of baddies are the only group in the entire movie that is entirely White.
It's even more hilarious because pirates were one of the most racially diverse groups in history. Pillaging murdering and raping aside, pirate culture was a very free and egalitarian culture where anyone could be on top if they showed themselves to be strong enough or good enough of a captain.
Peter Pan was written by a Scotsman, and is about a boy who never grows up, who is chased around by a boring nasty adult... Englishman. Not just any Englishman, an Englishman who attended Eton College.

Every single bad (or questionable) character is white. Agents. Cipher. All the cops. The Marovingian. The Architect. The virus twins. The dude that gets infected by Smith. I think there might have been a couple of Latino-ish mooks in the "armory stairway" fight. The obviously dubious/criminal gang with the white rabbit tattoo chick.
In the "resistance," all of the doubters are white guys.
For "good"/helpful white characters, there's one councilman that's alright. There's the ammo kid. The spoon kid. Mouse was a white guy, but he was also the one who has pathetic fake Matrix-sex. There's some women (Trinity, Switch, the Marovingian's wife). Keanu himself is half Korean. 6+ hours worth of movies and maybe 10-15 minutes of screen time for helpful white male side characters.
All of the other good characters were either women or not white: Morpheus. Apok. Tank. Dozer. The Oracle. The Oracle's helper. The Keymaker. The golden-glowing Asian dude. The helpful "Karma" guy in the train station. The black general power armor guy. Jada Pinkett the "badass driver." The "we gotta make mortars!" chicks.
I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that it wasn't accidental. This was late '90s early '00s. It's only gotten worse. I can't count the number of times I've watched a movie in the last 2 decades where every scene looks like a meeting of the united nations except the bad guys, who are all white men.
The Wachowski brothers also wanted Will Smith to play Neo.

Straight white men are evil, we all get it. If they did this shit to any other group people would not be happy. But the usual suspects would raise a fuss if you don't do it to white people in a movie, even once.

Dispite dislikes 'being hidden' (as you can still easily see them with the right tools) its nice to know people dislike something so bad they'll still hit that button anyway

The Disney Live Actions were already a "who cares" line they seemed determined to make work, despite being forgotten about within weeks of release every single time.
So I have to guess the mass race swapping is a real desperation move to give them some sort of cultural impact, and butts in seats. Which is working on the first part, as more people have talked about Peter Pan and Little Mermaid than Aladdin or Lion King before they even came out. But that mockery doesn't bring the flip side's approval, which is what they seem to forget.
