What is this Disney Star Wars you speak of? I’m going through the legacy of the force books now and recently bought Darth Bane and Darth Plageus. So many comics and books that are written by people who don’t hate Star Wars. I really wish Lucas would’ve done a better job with selecting who to sell it to. To be fair I’m sure he really thought KK would take care of it

She rejected core tenets of the franchise, and her books reflected that. She viewed the Jedi as morally undeserving of their place of pride at the centre of the franchise and for some godforsaken reason thought the Mandaloreans were better. The most extreme example of this was when she wrote the Order 66 book, which I would describe as pro-genocide propaganda.
She did something similar with the Halo books she was involved in. She started the “Halsey is a devilish straight villain” and “the Spartans are mentally disturbed emotional wrecks” crusades as well as a number of other things that were equally horrible.
If I remember right she’s also the one who started rewriting the forerunners as psychotic despots with her trilogy.

Just look at her books in the Halo universe. All the important characters making decisions are women, and all the male characters are constantly shitting themselves instead of acting like soldiers. And the women in charge are constantly lecturing the men on things. It isn't even limited to human characters she writes either. The elites and the jackals have the same thing going on.

A competent owner would have an easy time of things too. There are hundreds of Star Wars books that are better than all the new films and shows of it. Even the games had better stories. George could just buy it back and then just hire anybody at all to turn the books or comics into movies.

I mean with how many kids anakin murdered you'd argue he's more into that stuff than luke. Which in a way makes his transition to vader make more sense. He didn't do it because he was significantly injured, he did it because he wanted to hide his identity and avoid a bunch of lawsuits.

I've got a family member who's an old time Star Wars fan from back in the day and also a Disney+ subscriber. He's been able to turn a blind eye to all of woke poison the mouse has been vomiting forth lately because he's pretty invested in a couple of their shows.
But this... this is something that he couldn't possibly ignore. Gay-ing up Luke Skywalker would pretty much be a direct slap in his face, despoiling many treasured childhood memories. It might well be the straw that breaks the camel's back. And I'd be willing to bet there are many, many, Disney+ subscribers just like him.
