Congratulations to Disney for succeeding to make it in the news cycle once again.
However, unfortunately for them, that won't make people actually become invested in their shitty creations and unappealing shows. We will just throw this in the same basket as the Disney trilogy; it is non-canon Star Wars, it's nothing more than a very poor fan fiction created by people who hate the original material.
If the rumours are true and Disney is really considering selling this franchise, then I fully expect the new owner to promptly discard everything Disney made.
A competent owner would have an easy time of things too. There are hundreds of Star Wars books that are better than all the new films and shows of it. Even the games had better stories. George could just buy it back and then just hire anybody at all to turn the books or comics into movies.
