Basically the key to society in general is making sure rotten women can't spoil the whole bag, but the internet makes that totally impossible unless you commit to a pastoral lifestyle and that comes with plenty of other challenges.
There may be something to that theory. Considering most of the people I still see and know IRL who are tomboys dont have social media and also consider it to be a plague.

I 100% agree with this. The real tomboys are great. While they have interests in geeky hobbies and willing to dive deep into it, they still are willing to be feminine.

Or just girls who liked to even watch sport. I’m sure it was more specific initially, but by the time I was growing up, it was almost so broad as to be “diluted” in meaning, if you will…

Gonna shoot into the dark but my guess would be that given the nuclear family is already broken down, they are playing off the latent issues most people already have.
In this sense, it gives boys a lustful desire towards older women with children to help stabilize the surplus of single moms out there who otherwise would be a massive drawn on the system (more so than they already are). They broke it, now they are bandaid fixing it by making young boys step up to the plate.
