I’m assuming the response will be something along the lines of “contributing to breaking down the nuclear family”, or somesuch…
Gonna shoot into the dark but my guess would be that given the nuclear family is already broken down, they are playing off the latent issues most people already have.
In this sense, it gives boys a lustful desire towards older women with children to help stabilize the surplus of single moms out there who otherwise would be a massive drawn on the system (more so than they already are). They broke it, now they are bandaid fixing it by making young boys step up to the plate.
The inverse is probably obvious. They want young girls to be lusting after older men because it directly benefits them. That one is as old as time, and they are just amplifying it by the mass increase in DDLG and "sugardaddy" ideas.

Well yeah, it goes both ways. However, I've been forced to see enough Tiktoks of these types of "daddy" type content to say women are watching it just as much, just in a different venue than raw porn.
Plausible deniability I'd reckon. Avoids any legal issues in places where incest is illegal, gives you an out to pretend there isn't anything uncouth, and basically just a general weasel out of any uncomfortable questions.
